Explanation:

We have the following chemical reaction:

HCOOH + NaOH → HCOONa + H₂O

molar concentration = number of moles / volume (L)

number of moles = molar concentration × volume

number of moles of HCOOH = 0.2 × 20 = 4 mmoles

From the chemical reaction we see that 1 mmole of HCOOH will react with 1 mmole of NaOH so 4 mmoles of HCOOH will react with 4 mmoles of NaOH.

volume =  number of moles / molar concentration
