Answer:

1. SI units are easy to remember

2. English system needs lots of calculation while converting it from one unit to other

3. SI unit is universally accepted.

Explanation:

1. SI units are easy to remember

2. English system needs lots of calculation while converting it from one unit to other.

in SI unit base 10 is used to convert from one unit to other,I is similar to number system, therefore it is very easy to remember and convert between units.

In  English system it is very difficult to memorize when we have to convert bigger unit to smaller unit by several orders of magnitude and it needs lots of calculation.

Example:

Suppose we have to determine how many millimeters are there in a meter? then we can easily determine

we can easily remember it as milimeter means 10^3meter

on the other hand if we have convert microns into a mile than it needs lots of calculation.

3. SI unit is universally accepted.

What would a 1:1 liquid binary mixture of Cyclohexane and Toluene look like? How would the molecules associate with one another?
Ainat [17]

Answer:

Both compounds are colorless, so a mixture of them will look transparent. Both molecules are nopolar, therefore they will associate with each other through London interactions, also known as Van del Waals forces or as transient dipole-transient dipole interactions.

Nesterboy [21]

Answer:

ΔHreaction = 263.15 kJ/mol

Explanation:

The reaction is as follow:

OH + CF₂Cl₂ → HOF + CFCl₂

You need to calculate the enthalpy of reaction and for this it is necessary to know the standard enthalpies for each of the compounds. These enthalpies are as follows and can be found in your textbook or on the Internet.

ΔHreaction = ∑ΔHproducts - ∑ΔHreactants

delta(H)_{reaction} =((1*(-97.8)+(1*(-92))-((1*39)+(1*(-491.15))=263.15kJ/mol
