A parallel circuit has multiple paths from the energy source to the resistors (e.x., lightbulbs). If one bulb was to burn out, the rest would stay on, unlike a series circuit. If one bulb was to burn out, the circuit is no longer fully connected because there is only one path from the energy source to the resistors. But, despite these differences, they are similar in the way that they do have paths from the energy source to the resistors.

Explanation:

A system of resistors can be arranged in two ways i.e. series combination and parallel combination.

In series combination of resistors, the current flowing across each and every resistor is same while the potential difference divides. The equivalent resistance in series combination is given by :

R_{eq}=R_1+R_2+.......+R_n

In parallel combination of resistors, the potential difference across each and every resistor is same while the current divides. The equivalent resistance is parallel combination is given by :

\dfrac{1}{R_{eq}}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}+.........+\dfrac{1}{R_n}

How fast does a 2 MeV fission neutron travel through a reactor core?
Artemon [7]

Answer:

The answer is 1.956 \times 10^7\ m/s

Explanation:

The amount of energy is not enough to apply the relativistic formula of energy E = mc^2, so the definition of energy in this case is

E = \frac{1}{2}m v^2.

From the last equation,

v= \sqrt{2E/m}

where

E = 2 MeV = 3.204 \times 10^{-13} J

and the mass of the neutron is

m = 1.675\times 10^{-27}\ Kg.

Then

v = 1.956 \times 10^7\ m/s

the equivalent of 0.065 the speed of light.

A snowball accelerates at
ANTONII [103]

Answer:

0. 1226495726kg

Explanation:

Force is the product of mass and acceleration.

Mathematically,

Force(F) = mass (m)×acceleration(a)

Substituting the values into the equation

2. 87=m×23. 4

2. 87=m (23. 4)

2. 87/23. 4=m (23. 4)/23. 4

2. 87/23. 4=m

0. 1226495726=m

A skydiver jumps from an airplane that is moving at 50 meters per second at a height of 1,000 meters what describes the skydiver
kkurt [141]

Answer:

11060M  Joules, where M is the mass of the diver in kg

Explanation:

Mass of the skydiver missing, we're assuming it's M.

It's total energy is the sum of the contribution of his kinetic energy (K)- since he's moving at 50 m/s, and it's potential energy (U), since he's subject to earth gravity.

Energy is the sum of the two, so E = K+U= \frac 12 M v^2 + Mgh = M (\frac 12 \cdot 50^2 + 9.81\cdot 1000) = M ( 1250 + 9810) = 11060\cdot M

A tiny boat is floating in a metal bucket. If you build a fire under the bucket ,how will most of the heat be transferred from t
Dimas [21]
The molecules will heat up and move faster, some evaporating and turning to gas, the toy boat will heat up if made of conducting materials but otherwise unchanged. The water will also start to boil.
