The answer is "Cold Front".

A cold front is characterized as the change zone where a cool air mass is supplanting a hotter air mass. Cold fronts for the most part move from northwest to southeast. The air behind a cold front is recognizably colder and drier than the air in front of it.

What is the purpose of the article physicists test telepathy in a cheat proof setting?
ryzh [129]
I'm guessing that the purpose of the article is to inform the
general public of the work that these Physicists did when they
attempted to detect the existence or non-existence of telepathy
in a controlled, scientifically acceptable setting.

The REASON the article was ever presented in a non-professional
publication was most likely in deference to the general public's interest
in telepathy, UFOs, aliens, flat Earth, Astrology, and all other forms of
weird garbage.  In other words, its publication was motivated more by
the desire to sell magazines than by any inclination to impart any real,
useful information to the general public.

0.5000 kg of water at 35.00 degrees Celsius is cooled, with the removal of 6.300 E4 J of heat. What is the final temperature of
kogti [31]

Answer:

=30.22°C

Explanation:

The enthalpy change made the water to cool.

Enthalpy change = MC∅ where M is the mass of the water, C is the specific heat capacity of water and ∅ the temperature change.

ΔH=MC∅

∅=ΔH/MC

=(6.3×10⁴J)/(0.5kg×4186J/(kg°C))

=30.1

Final temperature = 35.00°C-30.1°C

=4.9°C

Which most simplified form of the law of conservation of energy describes the motion of the block as it slides on the floor from
Schach [20]

Answer:

Law of conservation of mechanical energy.

Explanation:

During motion of a block sliding  on the floor from the bottom of the ramp to the moment it stops , kinetic energy is converted into potential energy so that total energy remains constant . No other conversion is taking place , if we consider friction to be absent in the system . Potential energy and kinetic energy form part of mechanical energy . So we can say that mechanical energy is conserved . Hence , system is following law of conservation of mechanical energy.

Describe what would happen if you rubbed a mineral with a Mohs hardness value of 7 against a mineral with a value of 5?
chubhunter [2.5K]
The mineral with Mohs hardness would be scratched because the mineral with Mohs 7 hardness is stronger than the Mohs 5 mineral. Eventually, that mineral would turn into dust if you kept rubbing it.

What is lever and explain its working principle
Aleonysh [2.5K]
Ans: Principle of the lever HTML5

The lever is a simple machine that changes the magnitude and direction of the force applied to move an object. It minimizes the effort required to lift the object. A lever is a rigid bar which moves around a supporting point (pivot or fulcrum). The object to be lifted is placed on the bar.
