Assume the acceleration due to gravity is approximately 9.8 m/s^2

In 1 second, it will fall

s = ut + at^2/2

u = initial vertical velocity = 0

a = 9.8

t = 1

s is the distance it falls

= 9.8/2 = 4.9 m

But the parcel has a horizontal velocity of 1 m/s so it will travel 1 m horizontally in 1 second.

The answer would be

1 metre, 4.9 metres.

Answer:

ma= ma

m⋅a = m⋅a

And equivalently:

am=ma

a⋅m = m⋅a

Explanation:

Question

Assuming this question "Similar to what you see in your textbook, you can generally omit the multiplication symbol as you answer questions online, except when the symbol is  needed to make your meaning clear. For example, 1*10^5 is not the same as 110^5 . When you need to be explicit, type * (Shift + 8) to insert the multiplication operator. You will see a multiplication dot (⋅) appear in the answer box. Do not use the symbol x. For example, for the expression ma,

typing m⋅a would be correct, but mxa would be incorrect".

Solution to the problem

For this case we want to write a expression for ma, and based on the previous info we can write:

ma= ma

m⋅a = m⋅a

And equivalently:

am=ma

a⋅m = m⋅a

But is not correct do this:

mxa=mxa

axm = mxa

A whistle you use to call your hunting dog has a frequency of 21 kHz, but your dog is ignoring it. You suspect the whistle may n
uranmaximum [27]

The Doppler effect is the right concept to solve this problem. The Doppler effect is understood as the change in apparent frequency of a wave produced by the relative movement of the source with respect to its observer. Mathematically it can be described as,

f = (1-\frac{v_0}{v})f_0

Here,

f_0 = Frequency of the sound from the Whistle

f = Frequency of sound heard

v = Speed of the sound in the Air

Replacing we have that

1- \frac{v_0}{343} = \frac{20kHz}{21kHz}

\frac{v_0}{343} = 1-\frac{20}{21}

\frac{v_0}{343} = \frac{1}{21}

v_0 = \frac{1}{21}(343)

v_0 = 16.33m/s

Therefore the minimum speed to know if the whistle is working is 16.33m/s

Rectangular plate has a voltage of +180V and plate to the first plate) has a 'voltage of -5V. Determie another rectangular plate
3241004551 [841]

For a Rectangular plate has a voltage of +180V and a 'voltage of -5V. , the second plate has the Electric field mathematically given as

E=21.5*10^3v/m

<h3>What is the field strength?</h3>

Generally, the equation for the Electric field   is mathematically given as

E=v/d

Where

v={180-(-5)}v

v=185v

Therefore

E=185/8.6*10^{-3}

E=21.5*10^3v/m

In conclusion, Electric field

E=21.5*10^3v/m
