The correct option is Mechanical energy is used to produce electrical energy.

The water stored in a dam at some height above the surface of earth has the gravitational potential energy. This potential energy gets converted into kinetic energy when the water starts moving. This running water hits the turbine which rotates and thus electricity is produced. So it is mechanical energy ( kinetic energy and potential energy ) that gets converted into electrical energy.

A 90.0-kg mail bag hangs by a vertical rope 3.5 m long. A postal worker then displaces the bag to a position 2.0 m sideways from
asambeis [7]

Answer:

615 N

Explanation:

If θ is the angle from vertical and T is the rope tension

θ = arcsin (2.0 / 3.5) = 34.85°

Summing vertical forces to zero

Tcosθ - mg = 0

T = 90.0(9.81) / cos34.85 = 1,075.85 N

Summing horizontal forces to zero

F - Tsinθ = 0

F = 1075.85sin34.85 = 1075.85(2.0/3.5) = 614.772... ≈ 615 N

Convert the number from scientific into standard notation: 5.9 x 10-2
guapka [62]
Move the decimal point to:
Left : (if the exponent of ten is a negative number -) ... OUR CASE HERE (-2)
or to
Right : (if the exponent is positive +).

You should move the point as many times as the exponent indicates.
Do not write the power of ten anymore.

So, standard form is:
Two points to the left {Exponent of Ten is Negative (-2)}
0.059 ... (without the 10)

An organism's ________ is the way its genotype is expressed
juin [17]

The answer is Phenotype.

Phenotype is the observable traits on the organism which are mainly influenced by how the genotype of the organism interacts with the environment. An example of how phenotype is determined is when a gene has several alleles. The dominant alleles are expressed in phenotype while the recessive one is masked. Epistasis of alleles also occurs in many other cases.
