The correct option is Mechanical energy is used to produce electrical energy.

The water stored in a dam at some height above the surface of earth has the gravitational potential energy. This potential energy gets converted into kinetic energy when the water starts moving. This running water hits the turbine which rotates and thus electricity is produced. So it is mechanical energy ( kinetic energy and potential energy ) that gets converted into electrical energy.

Sedimentary layers that are deposited on an angle are called?
Akimi4 [234]

Sedimentary rocks are deposited in layers as strata, forming a structure called bedding.

Bedding planes are surfaces that separate one layer from another. Bedding planes can also form when the upper part of a sediment layer is eroded away before the next episode of deposition. Strata separated by a bedding plane may have different grain sizes, grain compositions, or colors. Sometimes these other traits are better indicators of stratification as bedding planes may be very subtle.

Suppose your local apparent solar time is 11 am, and you have a clock that says it is noon in Greenwich. What is your longitude
jeyben [28]

The longitude based on the time difference is 15 degrees.

Longitude of complete rotation of the Earth

The longitude of a complete rotation of the earth in a 24 hours is calculated as follows;

= \frac{360^0}{24} = 15^0 \ of \ longitude

Time difference

The time difference between the local apparent solar time and the Greenwich time is calculated as follows;

t = 12 pm \ - \ 11 am\\\\t = 1 \ hour

Since it is one hour time difference, the longitude is 15 degrees.
