8 0
H=6cm(height of the object)
D=8cm(distance of the object from the lens)
d=4cm(distance of the image from the lens)
-----------
h=?(height of the image)
(M - magnification)

M = H/D = h/d
H×d=D×h
h=H×d/D
h=6×4/8
h=3cm
The height of the image is 3cm.

I need help in this small question:
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

1) The energy released during nuclear fission or fusion, especially when used to generate electricity is called nuclear energy.

2) It is not renewable because it is an element that has no way whatsoever to regenerate or replicate itself, nor gets created by any natural terrestrial means, neither makes itself available by arriving from outer space (like sunlight). There is a limited amount of it available on the Earth, and every bit you use is a bit you’ll never have available again (as Uranium atoms get destroyed by the fission process).

Hope this helps You

The position x, in meters, of an object is given by the equation:
LenaWriter [7]

Answer:

The SI units of A, B and C are :

m,\ m/s\ and\ m/s^2

Explanation:

The position x, in meters, of an object is given by the equation:

x=A+Bt+Ct^2

Where

t is time in seconds

We know that the unit of x is meters, such that the units of A, Bt and Ct^2 must be meters. So,

 • A=m
 • bt=m

b=\dfrac{m}{s}=m/s

 • Ct^2=m

C=m/s^2

So, the SI units of A, B and C are :

m,\ m/s\ and\ m/s^2

So, the correct option is (B).

Does water expand more as the temperature drops even more below 0 deg? I am worried about the coolant in my rad. as the temp.is

Water is, indeed, an exception. Normally when temperature drops, material shrinks. Water doesn't, water expands instead.

compare the numbers of each subatomic particle found in both diagrams and then list what makes hydrogen diffrent from hellium
Cloud [144]

The helium atom is found to contain more particles than the hydrogen atom.

What is a subparticle?

An atom is composed of particles and these particles are electrons protons and neutrons. The collective name for these particles is the subatomic particles.

Now we know that the helium atom contains more sub atomic particles than the atom of hydrogen. This is because, the helium atom contains two neutrons and two protons as well as two electrons. On the other hand, the hydrogen atom contains one neutron and one proton as well as one electron.

Thus, the helium atom is found to contain more particles than the hydrogen atom.
