Hello there mate ;)

Well, a giant is a mythical creature made up in folktales about men who were as tall as mountains and the tops of their heads brushed against the stars, while dwarves were made out to be short, grumpy, even violent creatures who were ugly and greedy.

But yeah, the first answerer got it right, lol.

Ones tall, ones short.

How much energy is required to accelerate a golf ball of mass 0.046 kg initially at rest to a speed of 0.75c?
Andrew [12]

The required energy to accelerate the golf ball is 0.232875X10^{16} kg-m/sec^2.

What is Energy?

  • Energy, which is observable in the execution of labor as well as in the form of light and heat, is the quantitative quality that is transmitted to an object or to a physical phenomenon in physics.
  • Energy is a preserved resource; according to the rule of conservation of energy, energy can only be transformed from one form to another and cannot be created or destroyed.
  • The joule, which is defined as "the energy transmitted to an object by the effort of moving it a length of one metre against a force of one newton," is the standard measure for power in the International System of Units (SI).

Given that,

E=mc^2

=0.046X0.75^2Xc^2

=0.232875X10^{16} kg-m/sec^2 .

Blocks A and B of unknown masses m1 and m2, respectively, are set up on an inclined plane as shown. Block A is attached to block
Korvikt [17]

Newton's second law we can find that the correct answer is:

E) It cannot be determiner whick block has more masses from the information provided

Newton's second law establishes the relationship between force, mass, and acceleration of a body. Since force and acceleration are vector quantities, their components must be added on each axis

For this problem we have two bodies, let's write Newton's second law for the body B, we assume that the body B descends

            W_b - T = m_b a

            W_b  = m_b g

            m_b - T = m_b a

Where W_b is the weight of block B, T the tension of the string, mb the mass of block b and the acceleration

Now let's find the relation for block A

let's set a datum with the x axis parallel to the ramp

           T - Wₓ = mₐ a

           sin θ = Wₓ / W

            Wₓ = Wₐ sin θ

             Wₐ = mₐ g

Where Wₓ is the component of the weight, Wₐ the weight of the body A and θ the angle of the plane

Let's write our system of equations

           m_b g - T = m_b a

           T - mₐ g sin θ = mₐ a

let's add the equations

            g (m_b - mₐ sin θ) = (m_b + mₐ) a

            a =   \frac{m_b - m_a \ sin  \ \theta}{m_b+m_a} \ g

Let's analyze this expression

  • The numerator is positive the body B descends, this occurs when

          m_b - mₐ sin θ > 0

  • The numerator is negative, body B rises

           m_b - mₐ  sin θ <0

We can observe that the acceleration is positive or negative depending on the relation of the masses and the angle of the plane.

In conclusion using Newton's second law we find that the correct answer is

E ) It cannot be determiner whick block has more masses from the information provided

Two parallel wires carry a current I in the same direction. Midway between these wires is a third wire, also parallel to the oth
Luda [366]

Answer:

Force is repulsive hence direction of force is away from wire

Explanation:

The first thing will be to draw a figure showing the condition,

Lets takeI attractive force as +ve and repulsive force as - ve and thereafter calculating net force on outer left wire due to other wires, net force comes out to be - ve which tells us that force is repulsive, hence direction of force is away from wire as shown in figure in the attachment.
