Answer:

1) designed to measure the difference in speed of light in different directions , 1887

Explanation:

1) This experiment was designed to measure the difference in speed of light in different directions and therefore find the speed of the ether.

2) was made in 1887

3) At that time it was assumed that it was the medium in which light traveled and it is everywhere

4) the speed of the wave depends on the characteristics of the medium where it travels,

for the one in a string depends on the tension and density

for an electromagnetic wave of the permittivity and permeability of the vacuum

5) In this type of interferometer the beam is divided into two rays

6) In his interrupter, he had to accurately measure the displacement of the fringes in a telescope, for which he had to minimize vibrations, he had problems in the movement of one of the arms, changes in temperature

7) In Michelsom's second experiment, the apparatus could measure 0.01 fringes by increasing the length of the arms by 11 m

8) The new interferometer floated on a bed of mercury

9) Couldn't measure any difference in speed of light in different directions

10) Physics was forced to eliminate the concept of ETHER

11) One of the principles of relativities that the speed of light is constant in all inertial efficiency systems

12) Michelson in 1907

13) It seems that Einstein did not know the results of this experiment

The energy conservation and trigonometry we can find the results for the questions about the movement of the acrobat are;

     a) The maximum speed is v = 4.89 m / s

     b) The maximum height is h = 1.22 m

The energy conservation is one of the most fundamental principles of physics, stable that if there are no friction forces the mechanistic energy remains constant. Mechanical energy is the sum of the kinetic energy plus the potential energies.

               Em = K + U

Let's write the energy in two points.

Starting point. Highest part of the oscillation

            Em₀ = U = m g h

Final point. Lower part of the movement

            Em_f = K = ½ m v²

Energy is conserved.

            Emo = Em_f

            m g h = ½ m v²

            v² = 2 gh

Let's use trigonometry to find the height, see attached.

         h = L - L cos θ

         h = L (1- cos θ)

They indicate that the initial angle is tea = 48º and the length is L = 3.7 m, let's calculate.

         h = 3.7 (1- cos 48)

          h = 1.22 m

this  is the maximum height of the movement.

Let's calculate the velocity.

          v= \sqrt{2 \ 9.8 \ 1.22}

          v = 4.89 m / s

In conclusion using the conservation of energy and trigonometry we can find the results for the questions about the movement of the acrobat are;

     a) The maximum speed is v = 4.89 m / s

     b) The maximum height is h = 1.22 m

The air inside becomes warmer, and that makes it LESS DENSE.

Less-dense air FLOATS in denser air. Since it's inside the balloon, it picks the balloon up when it floats.

8TH GRADE SCIENCE I NEED NOW DO NOT SKIP
yan [13]

Explanation:

1. Force=mass*acceleration

acceleration=force/mass

=100/50

=2m/s^2

2. Gravitational force for downward acceleration= mg-ma=m(g-a) , since a is less than g,

So it will be= 50(9.8-2)

=50(7.8)= 390N
