Nitrogen has a melting point of -210.0°C and a boiling point of -195.8°C. A sample of nitrogen is heated from -215.0°C to -200.0

°C. Which of the following best describes what happens to the nitrogen atoms during this transition?
A. They lose enough energy to be held in a permanent location. B. The attractive forces between them decrease, allowing the atoms to move relative to one another. C. They gain enough energy to move relative to one another. D. They gain so much energy that the attractive forces between them have no effect on their motion.

How do the amplitudes of a 120 decibel sound and a 100-decibel sound compare?
NemiM [27]
The 120 decibel sound has more amplitude than the 100 decibel sound.

In Physics, the relation between amplitude and intensity is that the intensity of the wave is directly proportional to the square of its amplitude.

Can someone give me an example or explanation of calculating energy from voltage? Many thanks!
antoniya [11.8K]
Expression to calculate energy from voltage: E= V*Q where E= energy, V= voltage, and Q= charge

Additional help:
-To find the Voltage ( V )
[ V = I x R ] V (volts) = I (amps) x R (Ω)

-To find the Current ( I )
[ I = V ÷ R ] I (amps) = V (volts) ÷ R (Ω)

-To find the Resistance ( R )
[ R = V ÷ I ] R (Ω) = V (volts) ÷ I (amps)

I hope that helps to some extent-
