"At ground level, ozone contributes to smog" so it is also an air pollutant.

Option: A

Explanation:

ozone is naturally present in stratosphere and acts as shield against harmful ultraviolet radiations. But it acts a pollutant contributing to global warming when it is present in lower level atmosphere particularly troposphere. In this level it combines with primary pollutants that is "nitrogen oxides" and "volatile organic" compounds to form secondary pollutant which absorbs outgoing radiation and contributes in raising the temperature. It has harmful impacts on vegetation as well as human health.

The smallest scale of the following is
Llana [10]

Answer:

B) 1:100

Explanation:

this explanation is actually simple.

you can see this problem as a simple comparation if you move for example

1:10

if you move 1 cm you are going to move 10cm in the other side usually is used for planes in architecture or sizing issues, so, if the scale need to be grater, that is if is necessary to increase the number inthe right side in this case 10 cm to 100cm it is because in 100 the resolution is better.

you can see this problem as a fraction

1/10 or 1/1000

There are initially No nuclei in a radioactive source. After a time interval of three half-lives, what is the number of nuclei t
ladessa [460]

The number of nuclei that have decayed after three half-lives is 12.5% of the original mass.

What is half live of radioactive isotope?

The half life of a radioactive isotope is the time taken for the element to decay to half of its original mass.

Number of nuclei decayed after 3 half lives

N = N₀/(2³)

N = N₀/8

N = 0.125N₀

N = 12.5% of N₀

where;

 • N is n number of nuclei that have decayed after 3 half lives
 • N₀ is the original mass

Thus, the number of nuclei that have decayed after three half-lives is 12.5% of the original mass.
