Hey there! If the taxi travels 84km in one hour (without making any changes in speed aka remaining constant), then multiply 84(5) to find how many kilometers it would drive in one hour. 84(5)=420km

Geologists divide Earth’s long history into smaller units that make up the geologic time scale.
aleksandrvk [35]

False

Explanation:

The geologic time scale which simplifies earth's long history is broad division of deep time. It consists of a large and small divisions.

  • The geologic time scale is divided into large broad categories; called eons, eras, period and epoch.
  • The scale is merges absolute dating of events that has happened in geologic past and their relative ages.
  • Broad categories on the scale are further simplified into smaller units.
  • Relative age puts events in the order of their appearance using a couple of geologic principles.

Sulfur dioxide gas reacts with oxygen gas to form sulfur trioxide gas. express your answer as a chemical equation. identify all
Firlakuza [10]
Sulfur trioxide (SO3) is a chemical compound that is a significant pollutant in gaseous form as it is involved in the production of acid rain.

Industrially, sulfur trioxide is an important precursor to sulfuric acid and is formed from the reaction between sulfur dioxide (SO2) and oxygen gas (O2) as shown in the chemical equation below.

Here is the electron configuration for Magnesium. How many total electrons are in the 2nd energy level?
balandron [24]

Answer:

8 electrons

Explanation:

Magnesium is present on group 2.

It has 2 valence electrons.

Electronic configuration of magnesium:

Mg₁₂ = 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s²

1st energy level contain 2 electrons.(1s²)

2nd energy  level contain 8 electrons. (2s² 2p⁶)

3rd energy level contain 2 electrons. (3s²)

3rs energy level of magnesium is called valence shell. It contain two valance electrons. Magnesium can easily donate its two valance electrons and get stable electronic configuration.

It react with halogens and form salt. For example,

Mg + Cl₂   →   MgCl₂

Sucrose, a major product of photosynthesis in green leaves, is synthesized by a battery of enzymes. The substrates for sucrose s
Gwar [14]

Answer:

Sucrose is a disaccharide composed of alpha D gluose and beta D fructose linked together by beta 2,alpha1 glycosidic linkage.

Explanation:

The specificity of glycosidic linkage very much essential to choose the substrate for the synthesis of specific disaccharide.

For example sucrose contain beta 2,alpha1 glycosidic linkage that means the hydroxyl group of anomeric carbon of one monosaccharide(fructose) should remain in beta conformation and the hydroxyl group of other monosaccharide(glucose) should remain in alpha conformation.

Investigate Weathering and Erosion 1. Describe at least one part of the experimental procedure that you thought was essential to
zvonat [6]

Answer:

Controlling the environment is the most key procedures for getting good results.

Explanation:

The control environment for an experiment is the essential part for getting good results. In control environment, there is no or less chances of disruption

from the external environment which can cause the results of the data more acceptable. So the scientists prefers laboratory for performing experiment as compared to outer environment. So in my opinion for getting better results, the control environment is the most necessary experimental procedure.
