Well Psychologists are people who are paid to talk to people about their problems or to find out if someone is a danger to themselves or even others. A psychologists investigates the mental state of an individual.

Hope this helps!

Psychologists study mental processes and human behavior by observing, interpreting, and recording how people and other animals relate to one another and the environment. To do this, psychologists often look for patterns that will help them understand and predict behavior using scientific methods, principles, or procedures to test their ideas. Through such research studies, psychologists have learned much that can help increase understanding between individuals, groups, organizations, institutions, nations, and cultures.

A wave amplitude 0.36m interferes with a second wave of amplitude 0.22m traveling in the same direction. What is the largest res
DerKrebs [107]
The largest resultant amplitude would be that created by constructive interference, basically when the two waves are of the same phase, so it would be 0.36m+0.22m= 0.58 m.

An engineer wishes to design a curved exit ramp for a toll road in such a way that a car will not have to rely on friction to ro
Dafna11 [192]

To solve this problem we will make a graph that allows us to understand the components acting on the body. In this way we will have the centripetal Force and the Force by gravity generating a total component. If we take both forces and get the trigonometric ratio of the tangent we would have the angle is,

T_x = nsinA = \frac{mv^2}{r}

T_y = ncosA = mg

Dividing both.

tan A = \frac{v^2}{rg}

tan A = \frac{11.7^2}{50*9.8}

A = tan^{-1} (0.279367)

A = 15.608\°

Therefore the angle that should the curve be banked is 15.608°

Water flows from a large drainage pipe at a rate of 950 gal/min. What is this volume rate of flow in (a) m3/s , (b) liters/min,
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

0.05997\ m^3/s

3596.1395\ L/min

2.11647\ ft^3/s

Explanation:

1\ gal/min=\dfrac{1}{264\times 60}\\\Rightarrow 950\ gal/min=950\times \dfrac{1}{264\times 60}\\\Rightarrow 950\ gal/min=0.05997\ m^3/s

Volume rate of flow is 0.05997\ m^3/s

1\ gal/min=3.78541\ L/min\\\Rightarrow 950\ gal/min=950\times 3.78541=3596.1395\ L/min

Volume rate of flow is 3596.1395\ L/min

1\ gal/min=\dfrac{1}{7.481\times 60}\\\Rightarrow 950\ gal/min=950\times \dfrac{1}{7.481\times 60}\\\Rightarrow 950\ gal/min=2.11647\ ft^3/s

Volume rate of flow is 2.11647\ ft^3/s

A projectile is fired with an initial speed of 40 m/s at an angle of elevation of 30∘. Find the following: (Assume air resistanc
BabaBlast [244]

Answer:

a. 2.0secs

b. 20.4m

c. 4.0secs

d. 141.2m

e. 40m/s, ∅= -30°

Explanation:

The following Data are giving

Initial speed U=40m/s

angle of elevation,∅=30°

a. the expression for the time to attain the maximum height is expressed as

t=\frac{usin\alpha }{g}

where g is the acceleration due to gravity, and the value is 9.81m/s if we substitute values we arrive at

t=40sin30/9.81\\t=2.0secs

b. the expression for the maximum height is expressed as

H=\frac{u^{2}sin^{2}\alpha  }{2g} \\H=\frac{40^{2}0.25 }{2*9.81} \\H=20.4m

c. The time to hit the ground is the total time of flight which is twice the time to reach the maximum height ,

Hence T=2t

T=2*2.0

T=4.0secs

d. The range of the projectile is expressed as

R=\frac{U^{2}sin2\alpha}{g}\\R=\frac{40^{2}sin60}{9.81}\\R=141.2m

e. The landing speed is the same as the initial projected speed but in opposite direction

Hence the landing speed is 40m/s at angle of -30°
