Answer: Final speed of car is 9.99 ≈10m/s or 2.78 km/h

Explanation:

Initial speed V1=23.7 km/h=6.58 m/s

accelerationa=0.92 m/s²

Time: t=3.6 s

V2=?

---------------------

use equat.

a=(V2-V1)/t

from here we can find V2

a*t=V2-V1

a*t+V1=V2

V2=a*t+V1

V2=0.92m/s²*3.6+6.58m/s

V2=3.312m/s+6.68m/s

V2=9.99m/s ≈10m/s

A .5kg bird is perched on its nest so that it has 50J of potential energy. how far is it off the of the ground?
pshichka [43]

It is 10.20 m from the ground.

Explanation:

Given:

m = 0.5 kg

PE = 50 J

We know that the Potential energy is calculated by the formula:

P. E = m \times g \times h

where m is the is mass in kg; g is acceleration due to gravity which is 9.8 m/s and h is height in meters.

PE is the Potential Energy.

Potential Energy is the amount of energy stored when an object is stationary.

Here, if we substitute the values in the formula, we get

P. E = m \times g \times h

50 = 0.5 × 9.8 × h

50 = 4.9 × h

h = \frac {50} {4.9}

h = 10.20 m

If the energies sound in the device is microphone what is the energy out
Katen [24]

Answer:

Microphones are a type of transducer - a device which converts energy from one form to another. Microphones convert acoustical energy (sound waves) into electrical energy (the audio signal). Different types of microphone have different ways of converting energy but they all share one thing in common: The diaphragm.

The metric system is now known as the international system of units.
a. T
b. F
inn [45]
The metric system is the oldest name for the international system of units. The answer is a. True. SI unit or the international systems of units are based on seven basic units; the meter, kilogram, second, ampere, Kelvin, candela and mole. All of these basic units are divided into multiples by a power of ten. For example in meters, 1 meter is equal to: 1000 millimeter, 100 centimeter, 10 decimeter, 0.1 decameter, 0.01 hectometer, 0.001 kilometer and so on and so forth.

There is less oxygen in air at higher altitudes than at sea level. Scientists have shown that people living at sea level have 5
Ivanshal [37]

Answer with Explanation:

"Red Blood Cells" (RBCs) contain Hemoglobin that is responsible for carrying oxygen into the body. When people are exposed to higher altitudes, the number RBCs in the body increases. This is because the body has a hard time taking in oxygen due to low atmospheric pressure. It makes it hard for oxygen to pass through the lung membranes. This is called "hypoxia." Such condition deprives the body from oxygen, thus, it creates more red blood cells in order to compensate the condition.

When it comes to people living at sea level, the oxygen can easily pass through the lung membranes due to higher atmospheric pressure. This doesn't require the body to build new RBCs. Therefore, the numbers of RBCs needed by people to thrive is lower than living at higher altitudes.
