Answer:

There are 7 of them

Explanation:

<u><em>Meter</em></u>- The meter, symbol m, is the SI unit of length. It is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the speed of light in vacuum c to be 299 792 458 when expressed in the unit m s-1, where the second is defined in terms of ΔνCs.

<u><em>Kilogram -</em></u>The kilogram, symbol kg, is the SI unit of mass. It is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the Planck constant h to be 6.626 070 15 × 10-34 when expressed in the unit J s, which is equal to kg m2 s-1, where the meter and the second are defined in terms of c and ΔνCs.

S<u><em>econd -</em></u> The second, symbol s, is the SI unit of time. It is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the cesium frequency ΔνCs, the unperturbed ground-state hyperfine transition frequency of the cesium 133 atom, to be 9 192 631 770 when expressed in the unit Hz, which is equal to s-1.

<u><em>Ampere-</em></u> The ampere, symbol A, is the SI unit of electric current. It is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the elementary charge e to be 1.602 176 634 x 10-19 when expressed in the unit C, which is equal to A s, where the second is defined in terms of ΔνCs.

<u><em>Kelvin-</em></u> The kelvin, symbol K, is the SI unit of thermodynamic temperature. It is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the Boltzmann constant k to be 1.380 649 x 10-23 when expressed in the unit J K-1, which is equal to kg m2 s-2 K-1, where the kilogram, meter and second are defined in terms of h, c and ΔνCs.

<u><em>Mole -</em></u>The mole, symbol mol, is the SI unit of amount of substance. One mole contains exactly 6.022 140 76 x 1023 elementary entities. This number is the fixed numerical value of the Avogadro constant, NA, when expressed in the unit mol-1 and is called the Avogadro number. The amount of substance, symbol n, of a system is a measure of the number of specified elementary entities. An elementary entity may be an atom, a molecule, an ion, an electron, any other particle or specified group of particles.

<u><em>Candela- </em></u>The candela, symbol cd, is the SI unit of luminous intensity in a given direction. It is defined by taking the fixed numerical value of the luminous efficacy of monochromatic radiation of frequency 540 x 1012 Hz, Kcd, to be 683 when expressed in the unit lm W-1, which is equal to cd sr W-1, or cd sr kg-1 m-2 s3, where the kilogram, meter and second are defined in terms of h, c and ΔνCs.

At t =0s, the current in the circuit in the figure is i0. at what time is the current 12i0?
ipn [44]

When the current is time-dependent, the circuit has a capacitor. A capacitor could be used to store energy. As you use it up, the energy depletes. This is why it is time-dependent. The answer is 12 seconds. I hope I answered your question. Have a good day and thanks.

Using an example, explain how being able to understand scientific principles and think scientifically can help you solve problem
crimeas [40]

One example is that when their food catches fire in a cooking pot or pan, it is advisable to smother the fire by covering the fire with a blanket rather than douse the fire with water. DOeing the later will only aggravate the fire. Knowledge of basic science dictates that oil and water are immiscible liquids the oil will continue to burn even as the water is poured into the oil. More so, as the water violently evaporates due to the heat, it spreads the burning oil and hence spreads the fire.

Some scientists hypothesize that icy debris arrived on other terrestrial planets in a similar manner to how it arrived on Earth.
d1i1m1o1n [39]

Answer:

Temperatures on Earth are ideal for water to exist in solid, liquid, and gaseous forms.

Earth's gravity holds the water vapor in Earth's atmosphere close to its surface.

Answer:

Explanation:

In case of colored film we apply the theory of interference.

Condition that colored fringe is formed ( constructive interference)

2μt = λ/ 2 ( minimum order)

t = λ/ 4μ

= 540 / 4 x 1.38

A blow-dryer and a vacuum cleaner each operate with a voltage of 120 V. The current rating of the blow-dryer is 10 A, and that o
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

Part a)

P = 1200 Watt

Part b)

P = 480 W

Part c)

\frac{E_{bd}}{E_{vc}} = 5 : 2

Explanation:

Part a)

Power consumed by blow dryer is given as

P = iV

here supply voltage is given as

V = 120 volts

current rating of blow dryer is given as

i = 10 A

P = (120 V)(10 A)

P = 1200 W

Part b)

Power consumed by vacuum cleaner is given as

P = iV

here supply voltage is given as

V = 120 volts

current rating of vacuum cleaner is given as

i = 4 A

P = (120 V)(4 A)

P = 480 W

Part c)

Energy consumed in a given interval of time is given as

Energy = power \times time

now we have to find the ratio of energy consumed in time interval of 11 minutes

so we have

\frac{E_{bd}}{E_{vc}} = \frac{P_{bd} t}{P_{vc} t}

now we have

\frac{E_{bd}}{E_{vc}} = \frac{1200 W\times 11 min}{480 W \times 11 min}

\frac{E_{bd}}{E_{vc}} = 5 : 2
