Answer:

1-10 μL

Explanation:

Gas Chromatography (GC) is a method of separating the constituents of a complex mixture by taking advantage of their different rates of movement in a solvent over an adsorbent medium. Gas Chromatography (GC) is a means of separation and analysis that utilises fractional separation. It is based on the principle that if a fluid containing a number of substances is allowed to pass through an adsorbent medium , the different substances in the fluid may travel at different rates and be separated.

The approximate volume injected through an inlet by using a split injection into a Gas Chromatography (GC) contains a sample with an approximate value of analyte which varies from 1-10 μL.

In order to adjust for injection volume inaccuracy, the technique used is known as Internal Standard.

What is the standard potential, e∘celle∘cell, for this galvanic cell? use the given standard reduction potentials in your calcul
Olin [163]

The standard potential for the given galvanic cell is 0.477 V

What is electrode potential?

The electrode potential is the electromotive force of a galvanic cell built using a standard reference electrode and another electrode whose potential is to be found.

There are two types of electrode potential

Oxidation potential - The potential associated with oxidation reaction is known as oxidation potential

Reduction potential - The potential associated with reduction reaction is known as reduction potential

At the anode, oxidation occurs

Sn(s)\rightarrow Sn^{2+}(aq)+2e^-

At the cathode, reduction occurs

Cu^{2+}(aq)+2e^-\rightarrow Cu(s)

E^o_{cell} =E^o_{cathode} -E^o_{anode}

        = 0.337 - (-0.140)

        = 0.477 V

Thus, The standard potential for the given galvanic cell is 0.477 V

Question: What is the standard potential, E∘cell, for this galvanic cell? Use the given standard reduction potentials in your calculation as appropriate.

Sn^{2+}(aq)+2e^-\rightarrow Sn(s), E°red=−0.140 V

Cu^{2+}(aq)+2e^-\rightarrow Cu(s), E°red=+0.337 V

An atom with 17 neutrons has a mass number of 33. What is this element?
Mashcka [7]
All atoms which contain 17 protons are called chlorine atoms. Adding or removing a proton from an atom's nucleus changes that atom's atomic number and creates a different element. Chlorine-35 and chlorine-37 are both isotopes of the element chlorine. The number after the name 'chlorine' is called the mass number
