HELP PLEASE NOWWWW !!!! ( 1 ) Jill and Scott both road their bikes for 30 minutes. Jill traveled 5 kilometers and Scott trave

led 10. Calculate each person's speed and tell who rode faster. (s=d/t)
Scott had the faster speed since he rode at 10 km/h and Jill was riding at 5 km/hJill was traveling faster. She was riding at a speed of 10 km/h while Scott was traveling at 20 km/h.Both Jill and Scott were traveling at the same speed since they both rode their bikes for 30 minutes.Scott had the faster speed since he rode at 20 k/h while Jill only traveled 10 km/h.

- (2) A yellow and green car traveled 400 miles to Dayton, OH. The green car made the trip in 10 hours. The yellow arrived in 8 hours. Calculate the speed of each car and tell which car was faster. (s=d/t)
The green car was faster. Green traveled at a speed of 50 mph while yellow was traveling at an average of 40 mph.The yellow car was faster. Yellow traveled at a speed of 50 mph while green was traveling at an average of 40 mph.The yellow car was faster since it was traveling at 40 mph.The green car was faster since it arrived in 10 hours. - I WILL MARK BRAINLIEST FOR BEST ANSWER !!!!!

1.Scott had the faster speed since he rode at 20 k/h while Jill only traveled 10 km/h.

2.The yellow car was faster. Yellow traveled at a speed of 50 mph while green was traveling at an average of 40 mph.

  u just need to divide time and distance for their speed

#1

Jill and Scott both moves for 30 minutes

now if Jill cover 5 km distance and Scott cover 10 km distance

now we know that the formula of speed is given as

speed = \frac{distance}{time}

now we will have

speed of Jill

v = \frac{5}{0.5} = 10 km/h

speed of Scott

v = \frac{10}{0.5} = 20 km/h

so correct answer here is

Scott had the faster speed since he rode at 20 k/h while Jill only traveled 10 km/h.

#2

distance travelled by each car is given as

d = 400 miles

now here it is given that

time taken by green car

t_1 = 10 hours

time taken by yellow car

t_2 = 8 hours

now we can find the speed of two cars

speed = \frac{distance}{time}

speed of green car

v = \frac{400}{10} = 40 mph

speed of yellow car

v = \frac{400}{8} = 50 mph

so correct answer will be

The yellow car was faster. Yellow traveled at a speed of 50 mph while green was traveling at an average of 40 mph.

The area of the effort and load of the Piston of a hydrolic are 0.5 and 5m respectively. If a force of 100 Newton is applied on
Yanka [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

Using Pascal laws, which states that pressure are the input equals the pressure at the output.

Pressure is given as force/area

P1=P2

Then,

F1/A1=F2/A2

Cross multiply

F1A2=F2A1

Given that

Ae=0.5m² area of effort

Al=5m² area of load

Fl=? Force if load

Fe= 100N. Force of effort

Then applying pascal

Fl/Al=Fe/Ae

Fl/5=100/0.5

FL/5=200

Fl=200×5

Fl=1000N

The first safety load is 1000N

Janet wants to find the spring constant of a given spring, so she hangs the spring vertically and attaches a 0.50 kg mass to the
frez [133]
Given: Mass m = 0.50 Kg;     Force = Weight = mg   F = (0.50 Kg)(9.8 m/s²)

                                               F = 4.9 N

Displacement  x = 3.0 cm   convert to meter   x = 0.03 m

Required: Spring constant  k = "

Formula:  F = kx

                k = F/x

                k = 4.9 N/0.03 m

                k = 163.33 N/m
