You have a string with a mass of 0.0123 kg.0.0123 kg. You stretch the string with a force of 8.37 N,8.37 N, giving it a length o

f 1.81 m.1.81 m. Then, you vibrate the string transversely at precisely the frequency that corresponds to its fourth normal mode; that is, at its fourth harmonic. What is the wavelength ????4λ4 of the standing wave you create in the string? What is the frequency f4?

Answer:

v= 35.09m/s

f= 38.77Hz

Explanation:

Length 'L' = 1.81 m

Now, First off the fourth harmonic of a string with two nodes is given by:

L=2λ

1.81=2λ

λ= 1.81/2 =>0.905 m

Wave speed on a strecthed string is:

v=√(Ft/(m/l))

v= √(8.37)/(0.0123/1.81)

v= 35.09m/s

Next is to determine frequency i,e

v=λf or f =v/λ

f= 35.09/0.905

f= 38.77Hz

A 300-n force acts on a 25-kg object. the acceleration of the object is?
Over [174]
To solve the answer use the equation: a = fnet / m

a = 300 N / 25 kg

300 N / 25 kg = 12m/s

The acceleration of the object is 12m/s

Gravity on the moon is about 1/6 th the gravity felt on the earth. This is because A) the moon is so far away from the earth. B)
ankoles [38]
<span>So we want to know why is there a difference between the force of gravity on the Moon and the force of gravity of the Earth. So the gravitational force between two objects depends on the masses of both objects. That can be seen from Newtons universal law of gravity. F=G*m1*m2*(1/r^2). So lets say we are holding an object of mass m=1kg on a height r=1m on the Moon and we are holding the same object on the Earth also on the same height of r=1m. The Gravitational force on the Earth will be Fg=G*M*m*(r^2) where M is the mass of the Earth. The force between the moon and that object will be Fg=G*n*m*(r^2), where n is the mass of the moon. Since mass of the Moon is much smaller than mass of the Earth, The gravitational force between the Moon and that body will be almost 6 times smaller than the gravitational force between the Earth and that body. So the correct answer is B. </span>

What is the product of nuclear fission?
RideAnS [48]
Nuclear fission is seperating an atom so product is b.

Energy is released during nuclear fussion. Mass is converted into energy because E=mc^2, this is the energy that is released
