This is a big looking question for school and for 5 points. It seems to relate to superfluidity in helium III and helium IV and something called the "lambda" point. Though I can't do it justice yet and here, it looks as though i can find tis in "Heat and Thermodynamics", Mark W Zemansky ...If rho is the density of helium II, rhon the density of the normal part, and rhoz the density of the superfluid part rho=rhon+rhoz. At the lambda point, all the atoms are normal and rhon/rho = 1, whereas at absolute zero all the atoms are superfluid and rhon/rho=0.Best I can do with the info and point available ..ps, I think that both Bose and Einstein were nobel prize winners, and the word "Boson" is in honour of the, I believe, Indian physicist Bose. It is a very interesting question, and I can in no way do it justice here.

If silicic rock is found in a core sample. What evidence does this provide about the rocks location ?
frez [133]

Answer:

The rocks location is underneath an ocean or mountain

Explanation:

Silicic rock are igneous rock rich in silica. The amount of silica that constitutes a silicic rock is usually defined as at least sixty three percent. Granite and rhyolite are the most common silicic rocks found. These are found in the magma of the Earth.

Silicic is the group of silicate magmas which crystallise a relatively small proportion of ferromagnesian silicates. The main constituents of a silicic rock will be minerals rich in silica-minerals mainly.

Explain what was ultimately responsible for London’s “killer fog” in 1952.
stellarik [79]

Answer:

possible answer from edge

Explanation:

After World War II the only coal available to burn residentially, either for cooking or warmth, was of poor quality and contained large amounts of contaminants that made its fumes toxic. So when millions of homes in London burned this low quality coal and the local atmosphere over and around London stagnated, there was nowhere for the fumes to go. This stagnation allowed the toxic coal fumes to build up until they became physically harmful to humans and animals.
