B
elements are the make up of matter
it is not the smallest particle of a material,also not all elements are expensive
some can be found easily and also elements are simple without combination of other substances so it might be able to be splitted

I think the best answer among the choices listed above is option A. Elements are the smallest particles of any material. It cannot be broken down into more tiny particles. There are 118 known elements where 94 occurs naturally and the 24 remaining are synthetic.

5. What volume of silver metal will weigh exactly 4500.0 g. The density of silver is 20.5 g/cm.
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

The answer is

219.5 mL

Explanation:

The volume of a substance when given the density and mass can be found by using the formula

volume = \frac{mass}{density} \\

From the question

mass = 4500 g

density = 20.5 g/cm³

We have

volume = \frac{4500 }{20.5} \\ = 219.51219...

We have the final answer as

219.51 mL

Hope this helps you

A sequence of thermonuclear fusion processes inside massive stars can continue to transform the nuclei of elements such as carbo
nlexa [21]

Answer:

Iron is the element that is produced at the limit of the reaction.

Explanation:

In nuclear fusion 2 lighter nuclei are combined together into a single nucleus releasing a tremendous amount of energy in the process.

Up to fusion of iron the reaction of fusion is exothermic but when iron atom pops out the reaction becomes endothermic and it requires very high amount of energy to fuse iron atoms which is not available thus marking an end to the fusion reaction.

How does nuclear fission of Uranium - 234 result in electricity being generated?
nevsk [136]

Answer:

See explanation

Explanation:

The use of Uranium - 234 to generate electricity depends on a fission reaction. The uranium nuclide is bombarded by fast moving neutrons leading to a chain reaction. Control rods and moderators are used to keep the nuclear reaction under control.

As the nuclear reaction proceeds, heat is generated and steam is consequently produced. This steam is used to turn a turbine and electricity is thereby generated.

What is the molality (m) of a solution that contains 76.5 g of KCl dissolved in 85.0 g of
water?
ladessa [460]

Answer:

76.5g KCl/74.55 grams per mole Kcl = x

molality= x/.085 kg H2O

Explanation:

well remember molality is moles of solute/kilograms of solvent. So it's the moles of KCl over 85 g of h20 converted into kg. if this makes sense.
