Which unit conversion allows you to convert 21.0 gallons into milliliters?
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

79470.2mL

Explanation:

Given:

  Volume = 21gallons

  problem, convert to milliliters;

  gallons to milliliters

 1 liter = 1.057 quarts

1 gallon = 4 quarts

we can simply solve this by establishing and using a conversion factor of 1 ;

   1 gallon = 4 quarts

   1.057 quarts = 1 liter

   0.001L = 1mL

21gallons x \frac{4qt}{1gal} x \frac{1 liter}{1.057qt} x \frac{1mL }{0.001L}  = 79470.2mL

we say;

From; \frac{4qt}{1gal} x \frac{1 liter}{1.057qt} x \frac{1mL }{0.001L}

1gallon = 3784.2mL

Can swords shatter from cold temperatures
sp2606 [1]
Depends on how the sword is made, what materials are used and temperature used but yes they can shatter.

When molecules cool down they stop vibrating and moving as much and so they "shrink" and the metal of the sword becomes brittle. sometimes they shrink at different phases which cause tension in the sword if this tension is strong enough it can cause the metallic bonds to break causing the sword to shatter.

hope that helps

___________ would albumin expect to dissociate into individual ions and increase the number of osmols/mol in solution.
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Answer: Check explanation please.

Explanation:

Before diving into the question,let us consider some important facts and definitions.

WHAT IS OSMOLARITY? Osmolarity is the number of OSMOLES of solute per litre of the solution. The unit of osmolary is OSMOLE. Nowadays, osmolarity has become a term used in the past, now osmolarity is called osmotic concentration.

OSMOLARITY can be calculated using; Σ(osmotic coefficient × number of ion × the solute molar concentration).

BACK TO THE QUESTION; ALBUMIN is a PROTEIN. Protein is a large molecule and it contributes an insignificant amount to osmolarity(around 0.6 Mosmole/litre).

Also, if we have the osmotic coefficient to be between zero and one, there is going to be great DISSOCIATION.

Calculate the pH for each case in the titration of 50.0 mL of 0.230 M HClO ( aq ) 0.230 M HClO(aq) with 0.230 M KOH ( aq ) . 0.2
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

pH before addition of KOH = 4.03

pH after addition of 25 ml KOH = 7.40

pH after addition of 30 ml KOH = 7.57

pH after addition of 40 ml KOH = 8.00

pH after addition of 50 ml KOH = 10.22

pH after addition 0f 60 ml KOH = 12.3

Explanation:

pH of each case in the titration given below

(6) After addition of 60 ml KOH

Since addition of 10 ml extra KOH is added after netralisation point.

Concentration of solution after addition 60 ml KOH is calculated by

M₁V₁ = M₂V₂

or, 0.23 x 10 = (50 + 60)ml x M₂

or M₂ = 0.03 Molar

so, concentration of KOH = 0.03 molar

                               [OH⁻] = 0.03 molar

                                 pOH = 0.657

                                  pH = 14 - 0.657 = 13.34
