Sixty-two months is equivalent to 160,704,000 seconds (if I did my math correct).

62 X 30 = 1,860 (# of months X average # of days in a month = # of days)

1,860 X 24 = 44,640 (# of days X # of hours in a day = # of hours)

44,640 X 60 = 2,678,400 (# of hours X # of min. in an hour = # of min.)

2,678,400 X 60 = 160,704,000 (# of min. X # of sec. in a min. = # of sec.)

Hope this helps! ;)

2 moles of a gas have a pressure of 2 atm at a temperature of 300 K. What is the volume of the gas?
qwelly [4]
  • No of moles=2mol=n

  • Temperature=300K=T
  • Volume=V

\\ \tt\hookrightarrow PV=nRT

\\ \tt\hookrightarrow V=\dfrac{nRT}{P}

\\ \tt\hookrightarrow V=\dfrac{2(8.314)(300)}{2}

\\ \tt\hookrightarrow V=8.314(300)

\\ \tt\hookrightarrow V=2494.2mL

Coal power plants burn large amounts of coal, c(s), in an o 2 (g) atmosphere to generate electricity. the chemical reaction re
charle [14.2K]
Answer is: volume of carbon dioxide is 1,84·10⁸ l.
Chemical reaction: C + O₂ → CO₂.
m(C) = 100 t · 1000 kg/t = 100000 kg
m(C) = 100000 kg · 1000 g/kg = 10⁸ g.
n(C) = m(C) ÷ M(C).
n(C) = 10⁸ g ÷ 12 g/mol.
n(C) = 8,33·10⁶ mol.
From chemical reaction: n(C) . n(CO₂) = 1 : 1.
n(CO₂) = 8,33·10⁶ mol.
m(CO₂) = 8,33·10⁶ mol · 44 g/mol.
m(CO₂)  = 3,66·10⁸ = 3,66·10⁵ kg.
V(CO₂) = 3,66·10⁵ kg ÷ 1,98 kg/m³ = 1,84·10⁵ m³.
V(CO₂) = 1,84·10⁵ m³ · 1000 l/m³ = 1,84·10⁸ l.

Calculate the ph of sweater which has a hydrogen ion concentration of 1 times 10 to the power of 8
telo118 [61]

Answer:

The pH of the sweater containing Hydrogen ion concentration

[H^{+}]=1\times 10^{-8} is

<u>8</u>

<u></u>

Explanation:

pH = It is the negative logarithm of activity (concentration) of hydrogen ions.

pH = -log([H+])

Now, In the question the concentration of [H+] ions is :

[H^{+}]=1\times 10^{-8}

pH = -log(1\times 10^{-8})

use the relation:

log(10^{-a})=a

pH= -(-8)

pH = 8

Note : <em><u> 1 times 10 to the power of 8 must be" 1 times 10 to the power of -8"</u></em>

If the concentration is

[H^{+}]=1\times 10^{8}

Then pH = -8 , which is not possible . So in that  case the pH calculation is by other method
