The bob passes the lowest point <em><u>twice</u></em> during every complete swing.

The period of this pendulum is <em>0.2 seconds</em>.

Frequency = 1/period

Frequency = 1/0.2 sec

<em>Frequency = 5 Hz.</em>  (A very very very short, fast pendulum.)

Note:

The mass of the bob, the angle from the vertical (as long as it's small), the color of the string, and the day of the week have no effect on the period.  Only the length of the string has.

places with mild climates typically have ______ summers and ________ winters. hot; cold hot; cool warm; cool warm; cold
finlep [7]
With the understanding that "cool" = "not so cold" and "warm" = "not so hot", then the correct statement would be:

Places with mild climates typically have warm summers and cool winters.

Among the choices, there are two "cool, warm" sets, so assuming that this is a typo, one of the sets is actually "warm, cool", which is the answer.

Please help I’m stuck
Gnoma [55]

The weight of the box is <em>w</em> = <em>mg</em>, where <em>m</em> is the mass. So

<em>m</em> = <em>w</em>/<em>g</em> = (3893.40 N) / (9.80 m/s²) ≈ 397 kg

Then the box has density

(397 kg)/(4.60 m³) ≈ 86.4 kg/m³

which is less than the density of the given liquid, so the box will float.
