Answer:

Neither technician

Explanation:

Neither technician is correct.

two bulbs are connected in series one bulb burn out

If one bulb in the series burns out then the circuit will break.

In a series circuit same current passes each resistor.

so, both the technician is incorrect bulb B will not work and current will not increase in the other bulb.

What is the least force you could exert on the refrigerator to move it?
Ulleksa [173]
 <span>If the refrigerator weights 1365 and you are not exerting any vertical force on it, then the normal force is also 1365N. so Fn=1365

Fsf = Static frictional force = (coefficient of static friction) * (Normal force)

So the least for you could exert to move it is equal to the Fsf.
Fsf = (0.49)(1365N)</span><span>

Hi i have homework can you help me
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Explanation:

The particle will be at rest when its velocity v(t) is equal to zero. Recall that the velocity is simply the derivative of the position x(t) with respect to time:

v(t) = \dfrac{dx}{dt}

Since x(t) = t^2 - 2t + 2

then

v(t) = \dfrac{d}{dt}(t^2 - 2t + 2) = 2t - 2 = 0

Solving for t, we find that the particle will be at rest at

t = 1\:\text{s}

A rocket starts from rest to 12s , it’s speed became 120m. find the distance it covered
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

1440 m

Explanation:

Speed = Distance/Time

Distance = Speed × Time

               = 120 × 12

               = <u>1440m</u>

Use the concept of fields to describe how forces can act from a distance.
Leni [432]
The strength of a field force changes with distance from the sourceof the field-stronger closer to the source, weaker farther away from the source. The source can be either a mass, a charged particle, or a magnetic pole.

A car and a lorry are about to collide. When they collide the two vehicles become tightly locked together. The lorry is going at
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

The speed of the vehicles immediately after the collision is 5.84 m/s.

Explanation:

The speed of the vehicles after the collision can be found by conservation of linear momentum:

p_{i} = p_{f}

m_{1}v_{1_{i}} + m_{2}v_{2_{i}} = m_{1}v_{1_{f}} + m_{2}v_{2_{f}}

Where:

m₁: is the mass of the car = 0.5 ton = 500 kg

m₂: is the mass of the lorry = 9.5 ton = 9500 kg

v_{1_{i}}: is the initial speed of the car = 40 km/h = 11.11 m/s

v_{2_{i}}: is the initial speed of the lorry = 20 km/h = 5.56 m/s

v_{1_{f}}: is the final speed of the car =?

v_{2_{f}}: is the final speed of the lorry =?

Since the two vehicles become tightly locked together after the collision v_{1_{f}} = v_{2_{f}}:

m_{1}v_{1_{i}} + m_{2}v_{2_{i}} = v(m_{1} + m_{2})

v = \frac{m_{1}v_{1_{i}} + m_{2}v_{2_{i}}}{m_{1} + m_{2}} = \frac{500 kg*11.11 m/s + 9500 kg*5.56 m/s}{500 kg + 9500 kg} = 5.84 m/s

Therefore, the speed of the vehicles immediately after the collision is 5.84 m/s.

I hope it helps you!
