Then I found the 36 degree angle in the triangle (180-144=36). Then I found the third angle in the triangle using the 180 degree supplementary angle theorem again, all three add up to 180, so 180-62-36= 82. Vertical angles are congruent so the opposite angle of 82 is also 82. Then I could find “x” using the 180 degree supplementary angle theorem again. 180-82= 98. Problem solved.
