Answer;

The temperatures of the two substances equalize.

Explanation;

 • When two objects at different temperatures are placed in contact, heat flows from the warmer object to the cooler one until the temperature of both objects is the same.
 • The amount of heat that flows from a warmer object is the same as the amount of heat that flows into a cooler object. Because the direction of heat flow is opposite for the two objects, the sign of the heat flow values must be opposite.
 • In line with the law of conservation of energy, the amount of heat lost by a warmer object equals the amount of heat gained by a cooler object. Therefore the amount of heat lost by carbon dioxide is equal to the amount of heat gained by water.

What is the temperature of a 100 liter container having 1 mole of an ideal gas at a pressure of 20 kilopascals? (Given: R = 8.31
Shalnov [3]
For this case, we use the equation for an ideal gas which is expressed as PV=nRT where P is the pressure, V is the volume, n is the number of moles and T is the temperature. We calculate as follows:

PV = nRT
T = PV / nR
T = 20 kPa (100 L) / 1 mol (8.314)
T = 240.56 K

At constant temperature and pressure, 5.0 L of SO2 is
Ne4ueva [31]
I've done this a few times and keep coming up with 5.0 L . I used the mole ratio, and SO 2 as the LR. That would make 2 moles of SO3 5.0 L but its not one of your choices. the temp and pressure are constant, so according to n/v = p/rt the volume is the same as the moles. hope this helps

An acid and base will combine to form a new substance with new properties in a
garri49 [273]

Answer:

A salt

Explanation:

When an acid and a base are placed together, they react to neutralize the acid and base properties, producing a salt. The H(+) cation of the acid combines with the OH(-) anion of the base to form water. The compound formed by the cation of the base and the anion of the acid is called a salt

Glucose, c6h12o6, is used as an energy source by the human body. the overall reaction in the body is described by the equation
Art [367]
Glucose is carbohydrate and a simple sugar that is very important to the human body.

Energy is produced for the cells in the body through the process of metabolism which oxidizes glucose to water, carbon dioxide, and some nitrogen compounds.

The general chemical reaction equation for metabolism is:

C6H12O6 + 6O2 ---> 6CO2 + 6H2O
