Answer:

Explanation:

The force of attraction or repulsion is given by

F=q1q2/4πϵ0r²

A. It is given that q1= -Q i.e a negative charge

And q2=q and it is at a distance r from Q.

Since it is a positive and negative charge then it is a force of attraction

So applying the equation,

F=q1q2/4πϵ0r²

F=Qq/4πϵ0r²

B. The direction of the force on q due to the Q is force of attraction and it is moving towards each other.

C. It is given that q1= -Q i.e a negative charge

And q2=q and it is at a distance r from Q.

Since it is a positive and negative charge then it is a force of attraction

So applying the equation,

F=q1q2/4πϵ0r²

F=Qq/4πϵ0r²

But if r is less than R i.e it is inside the sphere, then the F is zero inside the sphere

F=0N

New 5G networks utilize millimeter-wave radiation. Millimeter-wave radiation refers to electromagnetic waves with frequencies in
seraphim [82]

Answer:

It corresponds to 1mm-10 mm range.

Explanation:

  • Electromagnetic waves (such as the millimeter-wave radiation) travel at the speed of light, which is 3*10⁸ m/s in free space.
  • As in any wave, there exists a fixed relationship between speed, frequency and wavelength, as follows:

        v = \lambda * f  (1)

  • Replacing v= c=3*10⁸ m/s, and the extreme values of f (which are givens), in (1) and solving for λ, we can get the free-space wavelengths that correspond to the 30-300 GHz range, as follows:

       \lambda_{low} = \frac{c}{f_{high}}  = \frac{3e8m/s}{300e9Hz} = 1 mm (2)

      \lambda_{high} = \frac{c}{f_{low}}  = \frac{3e8m/s}{30e9Hz} = 10 mm (3)

Which of the following is the best name for a compound made from calcium and bromine? (CaBr2) calcium bromide calcium dibromide
8_murik_8 [283]

By definition, we have to:

Calcium Bromide is an inorganic salt formed by granular white crystals that responds to the formula CaBr2.

Calcium bromide has no odor, is colorless and has a bitter taste.

It is obtained by adding Hydrobromic Acid to Calcium Oxide, Calcium Carbonate or Calcium Hydroxide.

The substance that results is then subjected to a crystallization process, which involves evaporating the water.

From here, you get then:

CaBr2.

Answer:

CaBr2 = Calcium bromide.

What region of the electromagnetic spectrum contains wavelengths the size of an atom? (10^-10 meters) What frequency does this w
DENIUS [597]

If a photon has a wavelength of about 10^-10 meters, it would be certainly in the X rays region and it would have a frequency of 2.99792458x10^18 Hz, that you can easily calculate using the relation that states that the product of the wavelength and the frequency of an electromagnetic wave aka light is always equal to 299,792,458 m/s which is the exact value of the speed of light!

Using the superposition method, calculate the current through R5 in Figure 8-71
Natasha2012 [34]

by superposition method we can find current in R5

here first let say only 2V battery is present in the circuit

now the equivalent resistance to be found for which we can say

2.2 k ohm and 1 k ohm is connected in parallel

r_1 = \frac{2.2 * 1}{2.2 + 1}

r_1 = 0.6875 k ohm

now it is in series with 1 k ohm and then that part is in parallel with 2.2 k ohm

r_2 = \frac{2.2* (1+0.6875)}{2.2 + (1+0.6875)}

r_2 = 0.95 k ohm

now the current flowing through the battery is

i = \frac{2}{1 + 0.95} = 1.02 mA

now this will divide into R3 and R2 so current flowing in R3 will be

i_1 = \frac{2.2}{2.2+1.6875}*1.02 = 0.58 mA

now this will again divide in R4 and R5

so current in R5 will be

i_5 = \frac{R_4}{R_4 + R_5}* i_1

i_5 = 0.18 mA

now when only 3 V battery is present in the circuit

R1 and R2 is in parallel and then it is in series with R3

so parallel combination will be

r_1 = \frac{1*2.2}{2.2 +1} = 0.6875k ohm

also after its series with R3

r_2 = 1 + 0.6875 = 1.6875 k ohm

now it is in parallel with R5 on other side

r_3 = \frac{1.6875 * 2.2}{1.6875 + 2.2} = 0.95 k ohm

now current through the battery will be given as

i = \frac{3}{1 + 0.95} = 1.53 mA

now it is divide in r2 and R5

so current in R5 is given as

i_5 = \frac{r_2}{r_2 + R_5}*i

i_5 = \frac{1.6875}{2.2 + 1.6875} * 1.53

i_5 = 0.67 mA

now the total current in R5 will be given by super position which is

i = 0.67 + 0.18 = 0.85 mA

so there is 0.85 mA current through R5 resistance

23. What does a step-up transformer do?
nadya68 [22]

Answer: A transformer that increases the voltage from primary to secondary (more secondary winding turns than primary winding turns) is called a step-up transformer. As a step-down unit, this transformer converts high-voltage, low-current power into low-voltage, high-current power.
