The water helps the car slide just a little bit if you drive in a wet climate but in a dry climate the car does all the work. for example when you slide across ice with sneakers. on a dry surface you cant slide, but an a icy surface you start but the ice does the rest.

Automobiles rust faster in wet climate because  the chemical reaction between the metal and the iron, oxygen or water breaks down, or oxidizes, the metal causing the appearance of rust.

A 90 kg painter is standing on a horizontal wooden scaffolding of length 10 m, which is supported on each end by a rope. The pai
RSB [31]

Explanation:

For equilibrium, \sum M = 0.

So,   8 m \times mg - (10 m) T_{1} = 0

             T_{1} = \frac{8 \times mg}{10}

                        = \frac{8 \times 90 \times 9.8}{10}

                        = 705.6 N

Also, for equilibrium \sum F_{y} = 0

              T_{1} + T_{2} - mg = 0

or,         T_{2} = mg - T_{1}

                        = 90 \times 9.8 - 705.6

                        = 176.4 N

Thus, we can conclude that the tension in the first rope is 176.4 N.

Read through the and calculate the predicted change in kinetic energy of the oblect compared to 50 kg ball traveling at 10 m/s .
Sliva [168]

Answer:

A 50 kg ball traveling at 20 m/s would have 4 times more kinetic energy.

A 50 kg ball traveling at 5 m/s would have 4 times less kinetic energy.

A 50 kg person falling at 10 m/s would have the same kinetic energy.

Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

12m

Explanation:

To obtain the answer to the question given, we must observe the characteristics of image formed by a plane mirror.

The image formed by a plane mirror have the following characteristics:

1. Laterally inverted.

2. Same distance as the object from the mirror.

3. Same height as the object.

4. Virtual.

With the above information, we can calculate the distance between the boy and his image as follow:

Initially:

Object distance (u) = 4m

Image distance (v) = 4m

The boy moved 2m away, therefore:

Object distance (u) = 2 + 4 = 6m

Image distanc(v) = 2 + 4 = 6m

The distance between the boy and his image will be the sum of his distance (u) and image distance (v) i.e (u + v)

The distance between the boy and his image = 6 + 6 = 12m

Therefore, the distance between the boy and his image is 12m.
