Answer: The De broglie's wavelength is 1.45×10^-14m

Explanation:

Using De broglie's equation

λ= h/mv

Where h= Planck's constant = 6.6×10^-34Js

m= mass in kilogram = 3.8×10^-28kg

V= velocity = acceleration ×time =

2.4×10^7 ×5

V= 1.2×10^8m/s

λ= is the De broglie's wavelength

λ= 6.6×10^-34Js /(3.8×10^-28kg ×1.2×10^8)

λ= 1.45×10^-14m

Therefore ,De broglie's wavelength=

1.45×10^-14m

Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

λ = 5.65m

Explanation:

The Path Difference Condition is given as:

δ=(m+\frac{1}{2})\frac{lamda}{n}  ;

where lamda is represent by the symbol (λ) and is the wavelength we are meant to calculate.

m = no of openings which is 2

∴δ= \frac{3*lamda}{2}

n is the index of refraction of the medium in which the wave is traveling

To find δ we have;

δ= \sqrt{70^2+(33+\frac{20}{2})^2 }-\sqrt{70^2+(33-\frac{20}{2})^2 }

δ= \sqrt{4900+(\frac{66+20}{2})^2}-\sqrt{4900+(\frac{66-20}{2})^2}

δ= \sqrt{4900+(\frac{86}{2})^2 }-\sqrt{4900+(\frac{46}{2})^2 }

δ= \sqrt{4900+43^2}-\sqrt{4900+23^2}

δ= \sqrt{4900+1849}-\sqrt{4900+529}

δ= \sqrt{6749}-\sqrt{5429}

δ=  82.15 -73.68

δ= 8.47

Again remember; to calculate the wavelength of the ocean waves; we have:

δ= \frac{3*lamda}{2}

δ= 8.47

8.47 = \frac{3*lamda}{2}

λ = \frac{8.47*2}{3}

λ = 5.65m

Runaway truck ramps are common on mountainous highways in case the brakes fail on large trucks. If a
dusya [7]

Answer:

W=-21,870,000\ J

Explanation:

<u>Work and Kinetic Energy </u>

The work an object does due to its motion is equal to the change of its kinetic energy. Being ko and k1 the initial and final kinetic energy respectively and m the mass of the object, then

W=\Delta k=k_1-k_0

Since

\displaystyle k=\frac{mv^2}{2}

We have

\displaystyle W=\frac{mv_1^2}{2}-\frac{mv_0^2}{2}

The truck has a mass of 60,000 kg and is moving at 27 m/s. The runaway truck ramp must stop the truck, so the final speed is 0. Thus

\displaystyle W=\frac{(60,000)0^2}{2}-\frac{(60,000)(27)^2}{2}

W=0-21870000\ J

\boxed{W=-21,870,000\ J}

Answer:

To verify that they're polarized, he could hold the two lenses perpendicular (90 degrees) to each other, one lens in front of the other, and point it at a light source. If no light passes through then the lenses are polarized
