Answer:4

Explanation:

As shown in the image attached, a face-centred cubic structure has 8 atoms at the corners and 6 face center atoms.

Each corner atom contributes to eight cell, so per unit cell 1/8 ×8 =1atom

Face center atoms contributes to two unit cells 1/2 × 6=3atoms

Total atoms =3+1=4atoms

Therefore the atoms in Al FCC per unit cell is 4

Nikitich [7]
Answer:
            In the three-dimensional structure of methane, CH₄, the hydrogen atoms attached to a carbon atom are aligned at the corners of a Tetrahedron.

Explanation:
                   In Methane (CH₄) the central atom (carbon) is bonded to four hydrogen atoms. So, the central atom is having four electron pairs and all pairs are bonding pairs and lacks any lone pair of electron. According to Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion (VSEPR) Theory the central atom with four bonding pair electrons and zero lone pair electrons will attain a tetrahedral geometry with bond angles of 109°. Hence, the shape of CH₄ is tetrahedral.

When 2.50 g of an unknown weak acid (ha) with a molar mass of 85.0 g/mol is dissolved in 250.0 g of water, the freezing point of
baherus [9]
When dT = Kf * molality * i
                = Kf*m*i
and when molality = (no of moles of solute) / Kg of solvent
                               = 2.5g /250g x 1 mol /85 g x1000g/kg
                               =0.1176 molal
and Kf for water = - 1.86 and dT = -0.255
by substitution
0.255 = 1.86* 0.1176 * i
∴ i = 1.166
when the degree of dissociation formula is: when n=2 and i = 1.166
a= i-1/n-1 = (1.166-1)/(2-1) = 0.359 by substitution by a and c(molality) in K formula
∴K = Ca^2/(1-a)
     = (0.1176 * 0.359)^2 / (1-0.359)
     = 2.8x10^-3
