Answer:

light waves a

Explanation:

because there's all kinds of different light in space if you think about it like the bright stars or the bright moon it's kind of like light it just makes sense when it's traveling for space water waves obviously it's not possible that travels through the air or like on a beach sound waves you can't really cure much in space and mechanical waves is pretty much the action of an object or something like that kind of it's pretty much happens on Earth but light waves happen for like asteroids or shooting stars a comments it happens all the time for space so it makes just perfect sense

To make a 2 M solution of calcium chloride (CaCl2), you would place how many grams of CaCl2 into a container and then add how mu
belka [17]

Answer:

For a volume of 1 liter, we have a total mass of 220 grams of CaCl2 ( Option A)

Explanation:

Step 1: Given data

The concentration of the solution we want to make is 2M

2M = 2 moles/ L So the volume = 1L

The molar mass of CaCl2 is = 40 + 2*35 = 110g/mole

Step 2: Calculate number of moles

If we consider the volume = 1 L then for a concentration of 2M, this means the number of moles is 2

Step 3: Calculate mass

The molar mass of CaCl2 = 110 g/mole

This means 110 grams per 1 mole

for 2 moles the mass is 220 grams

This means that for a volume of 1 liter, we have a total mass of 220 grams of CaCl2

Suppose you have an aqueous solution containing 158.2 g KOHper
postnew [5]

Answer:

1132.8 ml of water

Explanation:

you have an aqueous solution contains 158.2 g KOH per liter

so concentration =158.2/56 = 2.825M

Molarity =2.825

that means you have 2.825 moles of KOH in 1.00L solution

Mass of Soluet(KOH)= 152.8g

Volume of solution= 1.00L

density of solution= 1.13g/cm3 =1.13g/ml

therefore mass of solution = VolumeX density = 1000mL X 1.13g/ml.=1130g

Mass of solvent(water)= mass of solution- mass of solute(KOH)=1130-152.8= 997.2g

Molality= moles of solute/mass of solvent(Kg)

=2.825/(997.2/1000)= 2.832molal

to prepare a 0.250 molal solution of KOH, starting with 100.0ml ofthe orginal solution

0.250*X =2.832 *100

X = 1132.8 ml of water you have to add

Explain difference in appearance between a pure substance and a mixture.
Nata [24]

A pure substance is a substance which cannot be separated physically or chemically. It is the same wherever found on earth. For example, pure gold is a pure substance. It will be the same whether it is found where you live or on another country. A mixture can be either homogeneous or heterogeneous. A homogeneous mixture is a mixture that looks the same throughout but is made of more than one element. An example of this would be salt and water mixture. A heterogeneous mixture is a mixture in which you can easily identify the different parts which make it up. An example of this would be pizza. Both these mixtures can be broken into different parts either physically or chemically.

Hope it helps :)
