Answer:
When baking soda is mixed with vinegar, a Neutralization reaction takes place.

Explanation:
The reaction of Baking sode (NaHCO₃) and Vinegar (Acetic Acid) takes place in two steps.

Step 1:
In first step a Double Displacement Reaction takes place between baking soda and acetic acid.

               NaHCO₃ + CH₃COOH → CH₃COONa + H₂CO₃

Step 2:
The Carbonic acid (H₂CO₃) formed in first step undergoes Decomposition Reaction as it is unstable.

                                 H₂CO₃ → CO₂ + H₂O

Which of the following numerical expressions gives the number of particles in 2.0 g of Ne?
mojhsa [17]

Answer:

Number of particles = 2.0 g*(6.0 x 10^23 particles/mol) / 20.18 g/mol

Option C is correct

Explanation:

Step 1: Data give

Mass of Ne = 2.0 grams

Molar mass of neon = 20.18 g/mol

Number of Avogadro = 6.0 *10^23 /mol

Step 2: Calculate number of moles of neon

Moles Ne = Mass of ne / Molar mass of ne

Moles Ne = 2.0 / 20.18 g/mol

Moles Ne = 0.099 moles

Step 3: Calculate nulber of particles

Number of particles = 6.022*10^23 / mol * 0.099 moles = 5.96 *10^22

Number of particles = 6.022*10^23 * (2.0g/ 20.18g/mol)

Number of particles = 2.0 g*(6.0 x 10^23 particles/mol) / 20.18 g/mol

Option C is correct

Describe any new ways you can change the polarity of the three-atom molecule.
yan [13]

- By changing three atom bond angle , we can change molecular polarity. if bond angle is 120° and all atom has same electronegativity, the resultant polarity ( dipole moment ) become zero. we can change bond anngle either less than or greater than 120°, but not exactly 120

- Replacing one or more atom with different atoms having electro negativity values also make molecular poles.

- By placing molecules under external electric field or magnetic field also causes to the molecule.
