Answer:

12,375 cm³

Explanation:

v=l×w×h

Since there are 3 books the equation would then be

v=3(l×w×h)

v=3(25×15×11)

v=3(4,125)

v=12,375 cm³

Sodium (na) , atomic number 11, has a tendency to lose an electron in the presence of chlorine. after losing the electron, na wi
Vinvika [58]

The atomic number is equal to number of protons present in the nucleus of an atom or vice-versa. For any atom, there is no change in number of protons either by adding or removal of electron.

Since, sodium is a metal, it has tendency to lose electron in the presence of non-metal i.e. chlorine. Thus, after lose of an electron, there is no change in the number of protons or number of protons will remain same.

Therefore, atomic number of metal is 11 which is also equal to the number of protons implies sodium will have 11 protons in its nucleus.

A solution is made by dissolving 23.0 g KOH in 1.60 L H2O. What is the molality of the solution? The density of water is 1.00 g/
artcher [175]
The molarity of a solution is defined as the moles of solute dissolved per kilogram of solvent. Therefore, we first compute the moles of KOH using:

Moles = mass / Mr
Moles = 23 / 56
Moles = 0.41

The volume of solvent is 1.6 liters
The density is 1 gram/cm³ = 1 kg/L
Mass of solvent = density * volume
Mass of solvent = 1 * 1.6
Mass of solvent = 1.6 kg

Molality = moles / kilogram
Molarity = 0.41 / 1.6
Molarity = 0.26

The molality of the solution is 0.26 molal.
