Answer:

An acidic solution has [H3O+] > [OH-]

Explanation:

A basic solution are substances that, in aqueous solution, release hydroxide (OH−) ions that is it contains more OH- than H3O+ in an aqueous solution while an acidic solution are substances that, in aqueous solution, release hydroxide H3O+ ions.

How many atoms are in 165 g of calcium?
vesna_86 [32]

Find the molar mass of calcium acetate...158.165g.
So start with 255g Calcium acetate x 1 mole Calcium Acetate/158.165 g Calcium Acetate x 6 mol Hydrogen/1 mole Calcium Acetate x 6.022e23 atoms/mole.

So...(255 x 1 x 6 x 6.022e23)/(158.165 x 1 x 1) = 5.825e24 hydrogen atoms

An aqueous potassium iodate (KIO3) solution is made by dissolving 553 grams of KIO3 in sufficient water so that the final volume
liberstina [14]

Answer:

M KIO3 = 1.254 mol/L

Explanation:

  • molarity (M) [=] mol/L

∴ w KIO3 = 553 g

∴ mm KIO3 = 214.001 g/mol

∴ volumen sln = 2.10 L

⇒ mol KIO3 = (553 g)×(mol/210.001 g) = 2.633 mol

⇒ M KIO3 = (2.633 mol KIO3 / (2.10 L sln)

⇒ M KIO3 = 1.254 mol/L

What is bohr's model?
egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

In atomic physics, the Bohr model or Rutherford–Bohr model, presented by Niels Bohr and Ernest Rutherford in 1913, is a system consisting of a small, dense nucleus surrounded by orbiting electrons—similar to the structure of the Solar System, but with attraction provided by electrostatic forces in place of gravity.
