A lever is a simple machine consisting of a bar pivoted or supported at a point (known as Fulcrum) about which it can rotate to perform the task.

Mechanical Advantage MA = \frac{E}{L}=\frac{F_{L}}{F_{E}}  

where E→ length of effort arm from the pivot

          L→ length of load arm from the pivot

          F_{E}→ force on the end of effort arm

          F_{L}→ force on the end of load arm

The effort is the applied force to work upon the load.

It is beacuse of fluid If there is no fluid, there is no drag. Drag is generated by the difference in velocity between the solid object and the fluid. If this statement is correct then how can there be drag in space if there is no air?
