An ionic bond is formed when the two atoms, metal and nonmetal, share the elections in the outermost orbital. Basically the metals gives up its outermost electron to the nonmetal to make the nonmetal have a full outer shell or ,in other words, to make it happy

In Universe , recently discovered by an intrepid team of chemists who also happen to have studied interdimensional travel, quant
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

Check the explanation

Explanation:

When talking about our universe there are 5 d orbitals. The element of first transition series moves away from the universal principles of Hund's rule and Aufbav's principle. So in order to attain stability these elements tend to form half or full filled orbitals.

In our universe the ground state electronic configuration of sixth transition metal, Iron (Fe) :  [Ar] 3d^{6} 4s^{2}

and the electronic configuration of seventh transition metal, Cobalt (Co) :  [Ar] 3d^{7} 4s^{2}

=================================

=================================

In universe L there are seven orbitals.

Ground state electronic configuration of sixth and seven transition element.

Sixth transition metal: [Ar] 3d^{7} 4s^1 or [X] 3d^{7} 4s^1

Seventh transition metal: [Ar] 3d^{7} 4s^{2}or [X] 3d^{7} 4s^{2}

At 25 ∘C the reaction CaCrO4(s)←→Ca2+(aq)+CrO2−4(aq) has an equilibrium constant Kc=7.1×10−4. What is the equilibrium concentrat
Nitella [24]

Answer:

2.67 × 10⁻²

Explanation:

Equation for the reaction is expressed as:

CaCrO₄(s)    ⇄      Ca₂⁺(aq)         +        CrO₂⁻⁴(aq)

Given that:

Kc=7.1×10⁻⁴

Kc= [Ca^{2+}][CrO^{2-}_4]

Kc= [x][x]

Kc= [x²]

7.1×10⁻⁴ =  [x²]

x = \sqrt{7.1*10^{-4}}

x = 0.0267

x = 2.67*10^{-2}

What are two ways that you can separate a COMPOUND?
Paraphin [41]

Answer:

1. Filtration. One of the simplest methods used to separate mixtures is filtration.

2. Distillation. When one compound is dissolved in another, or when two liquids are mixed together, the most commonly used method to separate them is distillation.
