If under vacuum the terminal velocity of the egg and feather would be the same because only the acceleration due to gravity is only force acting on it. but at normal condition, their terminal velocity are different because to wind resistance and shape factor that will contribute resistance of an object to go down.

Answer:

The terminal velocities will be the same in a vacuum and different for the egg and further.

Explanation:

Thinking process:

The terminal velocity is the maximum velocity that an object can attain after overcoming the resistance caused by the atmosphere or air. In other words, the velocity equation is given as:

F_{net}  = D -W

where F is the net force,

D = Drag force

W = Weight of the object falling down.

The drag force increases by the increase with the square of the velocity like this:

W = C_{d} \frac{\rhoV^{2}A  } {2}

The terminal velocity is given by the equation:

V = Sqrt (2W/CdpA)

In the absence of friction, like a vacuum, the velocities are the same.

In the atmosphere, there is drag, and the velocities are different.

BabaBlast [244]

A sample of an ideal gas is heated, and its kelvin temperature doubles. The average speed of the molecules in the sample will increases by a factor of  \sqrt{2}

The root-mean square (RMS) velocity is the value of the square root of the sum of the squares of the stacking velocity values divided by the number of values. The RMS velocity is that of a wave through sub-surface layers of different interval velocities along a specific ray path.

Root mean square speed is a statistical measurement of speed.

The root mean square speed can be calculated as : V1 : \sqrt{3 R T / Mo}

if  temperature becomes double

let T1 is initial temperature

So ,  T2 = 2 * T1

now ,

Root mean square speed will be (V2) =  \sqrt{(3 R (2T)) / Mo}

                                                     = \sqrt{2} * \sqrt{3 R T / Mo}

                                                     = \sqrt{2} V1

Thus when temperature becomes double, the root mean square speed increases by a factor of  \sqrt{2}

A force of 20 N produces an acceleration of 10 m/s² in mass m1 and an acceleration of 5 m/s² in
Scrat [10]

Explanation:

F = 20N m= m1 a=10m/s²

m=m2 a=5m/s²

F = ma

<u>for the first one</u><u>:</u><u> </u>

f=m1 × a

20 = m1 ×10

20=10m1

m1=20/10

m1=2

<u>for</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>second</u><u> </u><u>one</u><u> </u><u>:</u>

f=m2×a

20=m2×5

m2= 20/5

m2= 4

since F=ma

F=(m1+m2) ×a

F =(4+2)×a

F =6×a

F=20(from the question above )

20=6×a

a=20/6

a=3.33
