Consider the Chemical Reaction first:

Reaction: H₂SO₄ + 2 NaCl → 2 HCl + Na₂SO₄

Now, Given mass of NaCl = 30 g
Molar mass of Nacl = 58 g/mol

Now, Number of moles of NaCl = 30/58 = 0.517 mol

Balance the equation, For every 2 molecules of NaCl, 2 molecules of HCl formed, so the number of moles would be same.

Hence, Number of moles of HCl = 0.517 mol

Now, Mass of HCl = Molar mass of HCl * Number of moles
Mass = 36 * 0.517    [ Molar mass of HCl = 36 ]
Mass = 18.62 g

In short, Your Answer would be: 18.62 Grams

Hope this helps!

In an energy diagram for an endothermic reaction, the products are higher in energy than the reactants. TRUE FALSE
masha68 [24]

Answer:

The statement is TRUE.

Explanation:

In endothermic reactions, heat is absorbed (imagine that heat would be a reactive in the reaction). The enthalpy (H) of the products is greater than that of the reagents and the deltaH is positive. An example of this reaction is the decomposition of H20:

2H20 -> 2H2 + 02

Determine the number of grams of hcl that can react with 0.750 g of Al(OH)3 according to the following reaction Al(OH)₃(s)+3HCl(
djyliett [7]

Answer:

1040 g HCl

Explanation:

Al(OH)₃ + 3HCl => AlCl₃ + 3H₂O

moles Al(OH)₃ = 750g/78g·mol⁻¹ = 9.62 mol

moles HCl used = 3 x moles Al(OH)₃ consumed = 3(9.62)mol HCl = 1038.46 g. ≈ 1040 g HCl (3 sig.figs.)

Which of these statements is not true about chemical reaction rates?
Sliva [168]
I think it is A. The reaction rates can change.
I think we all know that B. and C. are incorrect, but I took a science lesson about this and it specifically said that on a graph of a rate, a curved line is NOT constant, meaning it is possible to not be constant.
