The answer is 1.6 s

The kinetic formula that can be used is:
d = v1 * t + 1/2 a * t²

d - distance
v1 - initial velocity
t - time
a - gravitational acceleration

We have:
d = 12.5 m
v1 = 0 (in free fall)
t = ?
a = 9.8 m/s²

d = v1 * t + 1/2 a * t²
12.5 = 0 * t + 1/2 * 9.8 * t²
12.5 = 0 + 4.9 * t²
12.5 = 4.9 * t²

t² = 12.5/4.9
t² = 2.55
t = √2.55
t = 1.6 s

An electron is accelerated from rest through a potential difference. After acceleration the electron has a de Broglie wavelength
Vladimir [108]

Answer:

3x10⁴v

Explanation:

Using

Wavelength= h/ √(2m.Ke)

880nm = 6.6E-34/√ 2.9.1E-31 x me

Ke= 6.6E-34/880nm x 18.2E -31.

5.6E-27/18.2E-31

KiRa [710]

Answer:

The maximum amount of meat that the butcher can sell is  3\frac{1}{12}\:lb

Explanation:

The maximum amount can be found by taking the difference of mixed numbers.

5\frac{3}{4}-2\frac{2}{3}\\\\\mathrm{Subtract\:the\:numbers:}\:5-2=3\\\\\mathrm{Combine\:fractions:\:}\frac{3}{4}-\frac{2}{3}=\frac{1}{12}\\\\=3\frac{1}{12}\\
