Planetary Model of the Hydrogen Atom

Anne Marie Helmenstine, Ph. D. The Bohr Model has an atom consisting of a small, positively charged nucleus orbited by negatively charged electrons. Here's a closer look at the Bohr Model, which is sometimes called the Rutherford-Bohr Model.

Answer:

planetary model

Explanation:

Niels Bohr proposed the Bohr Model of the Atom in 1915. ... The Bohr Model is a planetary model in which the negatively charged electrons orbit a small, positively charged nucleus similar to the planets orbiting the sun (except that the orbits are not planar).

which process was found after wegeners time, helped scientists find out how the continents actually move.
Genrish500 [490]
I don't quite know what you're asking so I'll just go on a rant :) Wegener created and supported the continental drift theory, which stated that all of the continents once formed a super continent called Pangea. No one at the time believed in the theory though so he spent the rest of his life trying to find evidence to prove it. However, after he died scientists began to find information that supported his theory. When scientists began to study Earth's surface and the layers below, the theory of the tectonic plates was formed. This theory stated that Earth's crust, the lithosphere, was divided into twelve moving plates. This theory did in fact prove that Wegener's theory was correct. Another theory that proved Wegener's theory to be true was the process of Sea Floor Spreading. This theory stated that at divergent plate boundaries, new ocean floor was being created and the old was being pushed away from the boundary, the old sea floor would then be pushed to deep sea trenches created by convergent plate boundaries and essentially recycled back into the Earth. I hope this helped, sorry it is so long :)

A water heater that has the shape of a right cylindrical tank with a radius of 1 foot and a height of 4 feet is being drained. h

For any prism-shaped geometry, the volume (V) is assumed by the product of cross-sectional area (A) and height (h).

V = Ah

Distinguishing with respect to time gives the relationship between the rates.
dV/dt = A*dh/dt

in the meantime the area is not altering

dV/dt = π*(1 ft)^2*(-0.5 ft/min)

dV/dt = -π/2 ft^3/min ≈ -1.571 ft^3/min

Water is draining from the tank at the rate of π/2 ft^3/min.
