Answer:60 ohms

Explanation:

R1=30 ohms

R2=15 ohms

R3=15 ohms

Let the total resistance be R

R=R1 + R2 + R3

R=30 + 15 +15

R=60

Total resistance is 60 ohms

Ionic solutes are considered strong electrolytes. What does this mean for the conductivity of the solution?
kondaur [170]

Ionic solutes are considered strong electrolytes. What does this mean for the conductivity of the solution?

A) Strong electrolytes dissolve and completely dissociate in water providing charged ions to conduct electricity.

B) Strong electrolytes dissolve and do not dissociate in water providing no charged ions to conduct electricity.

C) Being a strong electrolyte refers the type of bonding and has no bearing on conducting electricity.

D) Strong electrolytes do not dissolve in water and can not conduct electricity.

                                          ANSWER:

A) Strong electrolytes dissolve and completely dissociate in water providing charged ions to conduct electricity.

If given both the speed of light in a material and an incident angle. How can you find the refracted angle?
Basile [38]

Answer:

r = Sin^{-1}\left ( \frac{v Sini}{c} \right )

Explanation:

Let the speed of light in vacuum is c and the speed of light in medium is v. Let the angle of incidence is i.

By using the definition of refractive index

refractive index of the medium is given by

n = speed of light in vacuum / speed of light in medium

n = c / v  ..... (1)

Use Snell's law

n = Sin i / Sin r

Where, r be the angle of refraction

From equation (1)

c / v = Sin i / Sin r

Sin r = v Sin i / c

r = Sin^{-1}\left ( \frac{v Sini}{c} \right )

Two objects made of the same material are heated to 60 oC and 90 oC. According to
nlexa [21]
Assuming that there is in a vacuum, the two object will cool at the same rate, because the objects are made of the same material they will have the same cooling rate, assuming the surrounding temperature is the same.
