What are organic and inorganic compounds? Organic chemistry is the study of the carbon compounding molecules. Inorganic chemistry, by contrast, is the study of all compounds that do NOT contain carbon compounds.

3CuCl2 + 2Al => 3Cu + 2AlCl3
Marrrta [24]

The reaction includes the single replacement reaction and redox

Further explanation

Single replacement : one element replaces another element in a compound

A + BC ⇒ AC + B

The oxidation-reduction reaction or abbreviated as Redox is a chemical reaction in which there is a change in oxidation number

3CuCl + 2Al => 3Cu + 2AlCl₃

 • 1. Single replacement

Al replacing Cu in the CuCl compound

 • 2. Redox reaction

3Cu²⁺ + 6e⁻⇒ 3Cu reduction(oxidation number from +2 to 0)

2Al⇒2Al³⁺+6e⁻ oxidation(oxidation number from 0 to +3)

How many electrons does phosphorus have in its valence shell and neutrons in its nucleus, respectively?
DaniilM [7]
If you look at the periodic table of elements, you can see that atomic number for phosphorus is 15. It means that it has 15 electrons and 15 protons total. Now you can write configuration for P which is: 1s22s22p63s23p3. or [Ne] 3s2 3p3
From here, you can see that it has 5 valence electrons (s2+p3).

In the periodic table of elements the number of protons+ number of neutrons is determined as atomic mass. Atomic mass of the P is 30.
number of neutrons = atomic mass-atomic number
number of neutrons = 30-15
number of neutrons= 15
