Answer:

Question 1 the answer is 5 cm for the one pulley system, I just took the quiz

Question 2 is 10 cm

Explanation:

The rope only needs to move 5 cm for the mass to move from 15 to 20.

For the 2 pulley system the string has to move twice as far making it 10 cm. I took the quiz and got 100%

A beam of protons enter the electric field of magnitude E = 0.5 N/C between a pair of parallel plates. There is a magnetic field
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

0.217 m/s

Explanation:

The protons in the beam passes undeflected when the electric force is equal to the magnetic force:

qE = qvB

where

q is the proton's charge

E is the magnitude of the electric field

v is the speed of the protons

B is the magnitude of the magnetic field

Re-arranging the equation,

v=\frac{E}{B}

And by substituting

E = 0.5 N/C

B = 2.3 T

We find

v=\frac{0.5}{2.3}=0.217 m/s

Grape juice solid-conduction , solid-convection,fluid-conduction , fluid-convection
Gelneren [198K]

The process by which the heat energy is transmitted between the atoms or molecules is known as conduction.

Explanation:

Conduction is the transfer of heat through the material that are caused by temperature gradient with the material ends in heat flux. The heat transfer done by movement and mixing of a fluid is known as convection.

If a fluid is taken and it is kept as stationary. If there is a temperature gradient across that fluid, there would be transfer of heat that occurs in the fluid. It is negligible when compared to convective heat transfer.

Because of the heat transfer from solid to solid, density of liquid changes and start to move in upward direction due to low density. This type of motion is known as convection currents.

The following are all potential explanations for the motion of sailing rocks, but not all of them are scientific hypotheses give
AleksAgata [21]

Answer:

As we know that science is based upon logic. So the scientific theories have a logical reasoning behind them. So considering that in mind, scientific hypothesis include the motion of sailing rocks by animals, wind, flowing water, magnetic field, humans and gravity. The motion of the rocks by ghosts, God and magic are not scientific theories as we can not prove them logicaly.
