Answer:

Explanation:

To break apart a molecule of H2So4 is much higher than HCl although HCl is an ionic bond it is only bonded to one hydrogen. While H2So4 is bonded to two of them, aswell as its structure being much more complex. The energy to break Ba(h)2 is equal in both.

When two molecules of methanol (CH3OH) react with oxygen, they combine with three O2 molecules to form two CO2 molecules and fou
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

188

Explanation:

For every 2 molecules of methanol reacted, 4 molecules of water are formed.  Use this relationship to solve.

2/4 = 94/x

2x = 376

x = 188

188 molecules of water will be formed.

How is carbon within the hydrosphere?
kap26 [50]

Answer:

Carbon is found in the hydrosphere dissolved in ocean water and lakes. Carbon is used by many organisms to produce shells. Marine plants use cabon for photosynthesis. The organic matter that is produced becomes food in the aquatic ecosystem.

How many particles are in 4g of NaCl? (1mol of NaCl = 58g) – 2 step conversion
oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer:

4.16 * 10²⁴ particles

Explanation:

1. We convert from grams to moles

4 g NaCl / 58 g of NaCl = 0.0689655172 moles

-> 0.0690 moles

2. Now we will convert from moles to particles by multiplying by avogadro's number..

0.0690 * 6.022 *10²³ = 4.15518 * 10²⁴ particles or 4.16 * 10²⁴ particles

Quinine is an important type of molecule that is involved in photosynthesis. The transport of electrons mediated by quinone in c
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

The heat of combustion is -25 kJ/g = -2700 kJ/mol.

Explanation:

According to the Law of conservation of energy, the sum of the heat released by the combustion reaction and the heat absorbed by the bomb calorimeter is equal to zero.

Qcomb + Qcal = 0

Qcomb = - Qcal

The heat absorbed by the calorimeter can be calculated with the following expression.

Qcal = C × ΔT

where,

C is the heat capacity of the calorimeter

ΔT is the change in temperature

Then,

Qcomb = - Qcal

Qcomb = - C × ΔT

Qcomb = - 1.56 kJ/°C × 3.2°C = -5.0 kJ

Since this is the heat released when 0.1964 g o quinone burns, the energy of combustion per gram is:

\frac{-5.0kJ}{0.1964g} =-25kJ/g

The molar mass of quinone (C₆H₄O₂) is 108 g/mol. Then, the energy of combustion per mole is:

\frac{-25kJ}{g} .\frac{108g}{1mol} =-2700kJ/mol
