Answer: The acceleration of the object is 2m/s^2. If net force increases, acceleration will also increase and if mass increases, the acceleration will decrease.

Explanation:

Force is defined as the product of object's mass and acceleration.

Mathematically,

F = ma     ......(1)

or,

a = F/m      .....(2)

where,

F = Force exerted on an object = 60N

m = mass of an object = 30kg

a = acceleration of the object = ?

Putting values in above equation, we get:

a = 60 kg.m/s^2/30 kg = 2m/s^2

The acceleration of the car is 2m/s^2.

From equation 2, it is visible that acceleration is directly proportional to force. This means that \if force increases, acceleration also increases.

And acceleration is inversely proportional to mass of the object. This means that if mass increases, the acceleration decreases.

Hence, if net force increases, acceleration will also increase and if mass increases, the acceleration will decrease.

Answer:

F = m×a

60 N = 30 kg × a

30 × a = 60

a =  2 m/s²

The acceleration of an object depends directly upon the net force acting upon the object, and inversely upon the mass of the object.

3. Which one is part of the kinetic molecular theory? Yes = part of KMT, No = not part
lidiya [134]

Explanation:

a. Average kinetic energy is directly proportional to absolute Kelvin temperature of a gas.

Yes

b. There are no attractive forces and repulsive forces between gas molecules.

Yes

C. Atoms are neither created nor destroyed by ordinary chemical reactions.

No

d. The volume occupied by all of the gas molecules in a container is negligible compared to the volume of the container

Yes

The kinetic molecular theory is one of such theories used to explain the forces between molecules and the energy they posses.

According to the theory;

  • The temperature of gas is proportional to the average kinetic energy.
  • Molecules are independent of one another and the force of attraction and repulsion between them is negligible.
  • volume occupied by gases is negligible compared to the volume of the container.

Law of conservation of matter states that "atoms are neither created nor destroyed by ordinary chemical reactions".

Why would the volume of one object calculated using “Measurement and Calculation” differ from the volume of the same object calc
Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

Measuring the Volume of Solids

Rectangular prism - Multiply the measurement of the length times the width, then times the height.

Cube - Since all sides are the same measurement, it would be the measurement of any side, or edge, cubed, or a³
