Which causes an object to have inertia

Physics

That's a pretty slippery topic. I think the big brains and high-power cosmologists can spend a month discussing it and not have an answer.

For US ... people who are not big brains or high-power cosmologists ...
I think the best way to think about it is that MASS causes inertia.

The more mass an object has, the more inertia it has. And all of the
math and Physics that describe the behavior of mass can also be
understood as the results of inertia.

A horizontal force of 50 N is applied to the object.
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

Mass of object (m) = 5.102 kg

Explanation:

Given:

Horizontal Force (F) = 50 N

Find:

Mass of object (m) = ?

Computation:

We know that, acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8 m/s²

⇒ Horizontal Force (F) = mg

⇒ 50 N = m (9.8 m/s²)

⇒ Mass of object (m) =  50 / 9.8

⇒ Mass of object (m) = 5.102 kg

Mass of object (m) is 5.1 kg (Approx)

Match the type of boundary with it's characteristic
vodomira [7]

Answer:

Transform= not destroyed or created

Divergent= crust created

Convergent= crust destroyed

Explanation:

The plates move in the opposite or away from each other at a transforming plate boundary. The two platform borders are not produced or destroyed in this case. As both plates converge on each other and thus destroy the plates for converging plate boundaries. When the plate is divergent, both plates shift away from each other by opening up and solidification for a new crust.
