The following equation is one way to prepare oxygen in a lab. 2KClO3 → 2KCl + 3O2 Molar mass Info: MM O2 = 32 g/mol MM KCl = 74
Alex73 [517]
From  the  equation  above   the  reacting   ratio  of  KClO3   to  O2  is  2:3 therefore  the  number  of  moles  of  oxygen  produced  is  ( 4 x3)/2 =  6 moles  since   four  moles  of  KClO3  was  consumed
mass=relative  formula mass  x  number  of  moles
That  is   32g/mol x 6  moles  =192grams

Hydrophobic compounds dissolve in
Anastaziya [24]
Hydrophobic molecules tend to be nonpolar molecules that group together to form micelles rather than be exposed to water. Hydrophobic molecules typically dissolve in nonpolar solvents (e.g., organic solvents).

Given the unbalanced equation: ___Al2(SO4)3+___Ca(OH)2—>___Al(OH)3+__CaSO4
nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

The answer to your question is letter B. 9

Explanation:

Unbalanced reaction

                     Al₂(SO₄)₃  +  Ca(OH)₂   ⇒    Al(OH)₃   +   CaSO₄

                     Reactants             Elements      Products

                          2                          Al                     1

                          3                           S                     1

                         14                           O                    7

                          1                           Ca                    1

                          2                           H                     3

Balanced reaction

                    Al₂(SO₄)₃  + 3Ca(OH)₂   ⇒   2Al(OH)₃   +   3CaSO₄

                     Reactants             Elements      Products

                          2                          Al                    2

                          3                           S                    3

                         18                           O                  18

                          3                           Ca                  3

                          6                            H                    6

The sum of the coefficients is 1 + 3+ 2+ 3 = 9
