How many moles of hydrogen are in 3. 06 × 10⁻³ g of glycine , c₂h₅no₂?.
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

n = 6.06 x 10^{-4} mol

Explanation:

n =?

m = 3.06 x 10-³ g

M (H5) = 5 x 1.01 (Since we only want hydrogen)

Atomic mass of C = 12.01

Atomic mass of H is 1,01, etc.

Having this data, we can use the Molar mass formula and change it so we can know the quantity of matter (n) in moles, and we just replace it.

M = \frac{m}{n} ⇔ n = \frac{m}{M} ⇔ n = \frac{3.06 x 10^{-3} }{5,05} ⇔ n = 6.06 x 10^{-4} mol

Note: The numbers I've used may be different from yours, by a small difference. I don't know if it's the case, but hope it helped.

What is the molarity of a solution prepared by dissolving 54.3 g of Calcium nitrate
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer: 40 + 2x14 + 6x16 = 164g/mole

54.3g x [1mole / 164g] = 0.331moles

355mL x 1L / 1000mL = 0.355L

molarity = 0.331moles / 0.355L =

Given that there are 6.02×1023 particles in 1.00 mole, how many h2o molecules are in 0.17 mole h2o?
Marizza181 [45]
1 mol ------------ 6,02×10²³
0,17 mol ------- X
X =(0,17×6,02×10²³)/1
X = 1,0234×10²³ molecules H₂O
