Vinvika [58]
Wow! 2.95m/s is a mighty fast pace for a backpacker. Must have one of those Star Wars anti-gravity packs. Also, I would be curious as to why she passed her destination and then walked back.
Anyway, it goes like this:
Say the time walking east is 't', and the total time is 'T'.
Then 5340 m + .511 t = 1.43 T
(This assumes that velocity is positive in both directions)
Two unknowns in one equation. But you also know that the time spent walking west is
5340m/ 2.95m/s = 1810 sec.
and the total time T = 1810 +t
Substitute this into the first equation, and you can solve for t = 3092 sec.
Then T = 4902 sec. and distance walked east is .511t = 1580m.

A syrup added to an empty container with a mass of 115.25g . When 0.100 pint of syrup is added, the total mass of the container
sesenic [268]
Density is a physical property of a substance that represents the mass of that substance per unit volume. It is a property that can be used to describe a substance. We calculate as follows:

Density = 182.48 g - 115.25 g / 0.100 pint ( 0.47 L / 1 pint ) = 67.23 g/0.047L
Density =1430.43 g/L

Describe some precautions needed to increase the safety of participants in the sports of football.
OLga [1]
Football is a popular ball game and so many people play football these days. Been a contact game, there is no way players will not sustain injuries, but this can be reduced to the lowest point by taking some precautions.
The precautions that could be taken include the following:
Wear the right shoes.
Wear shin guard and soccer socks.
Use the right and properly fitted equipment [helmets, shoulder pads, googles, mouth-guards, etc]. All these equipment should be made for the soccer sport.

Beyond the petition Neptune a field of smaller bodies orbits the Sun.Some scientists think these objects are the remains of mate
Vladimir79 [104]
This is a very valid hypothesis for many reasons. One is that solar systems form from massive amounts of dust, ice, and debris that eventually form into planets and such. This means it is very possible for this 'excess material' if you will to have moved into orbit behind Neptune.

Describe the differences between a plum pudding model and a nuclear model.
sleet_krkn [62]
The plum pudding model, which has been abandoned since the discovery of the nucleus, stated that electrons were embedded in a "mush" of positive material. The nuclear model says they are placed around a central nucleus.
