Answer:

Explanation:

Pressure is equal to the force divided by the area on which it acts. Since the smaller piston has less area so from less force also we can get more efficiency in work. And according to the Pascal's principle, in a hydraulic system, pressure exerted on a piston produces an equal increase in pressure on another piston in the system. Thus by applying little force in the smaller piston, we can get same force from larger piston too. A hydraulic machine magnifies force.

A car traveling at 50 m/s uniformly accelerates to 60 m/s over an 58 second interval. What is the displacement?
yawa3891 [41]

Explanation:

here u = 50m/s

v = 60m/s

t = 58 s

then a = (60-50)/58 m/s2

= 0.17m/s2

now s= ut+1/2at2

so , 50×58+0.5×0.17×(58)^2 m

= 3185.94 m

= 3.18 km

A circuit is built based on this circuit diagram. What is the equivalent resistance of the circuit?
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]
The three resistors are connected to the same points of the circuit, so they are in parallel configuration. The equivalent resistance of 3 resistors in parallel is given by:
\frac{1}{R_{eq}}= \frac{1}{R_1}+ \frac{1}{R_2}+ \frac{1}{R_3}
If we plug the values of the resistances into the formula, we find
\frac{1}{R_{eq}}= \frac{1}{3.0 \Omega}+ \frac{1}{6.0 \Omega}+ \frac{1}{9.0 \Omega}= \frac{6+3+2}{18.0 \Omega} = \frac{11}{18.0 \Omega}
From which we find the equivalent resistance:
R_{eq} =  \frac{18.0}{11} \Omega =1.6 \Omega

So, the correct answer is B.

When a red giant completes helium fusion and collapses, it becomes a ______.
Firdavs [7]
<span>When a red giang complete helium fusion and collapses, it becomes a white dwarf. The correct option is C. White dwarf are very dense stars that are usually the size of a planet. It is a stellar core reminant which mainly made up of electron degenerated matters; its mass is comparable to that of the sun while its volume is comparable to that of the earth. </span>

maxonik [38]
Lo experiences tidal heating primarily because lo’s elliptical orbit causes the tidal force on lo to vary as it orbits the Jupiter. Thus, lo’s elliptical orbit is essential to its tidal heating. This elliptical orbit, in turn, is an end result of the orbital resonance among lo, Europa and ganymade. This orbital resonance origin lo to have a more elliptical orbit than it would because lo intermittently passes Europa and ganymade in the same orbital position. We cannot perceive tidal forces of tidal heating in lo but rather we foresee that they must occur based on the orbital characteristic of the moons and active volcanoes on lo is the observational evidence that tidal heating is significant in lo.
