Answer:

Explanation:

Pressure is equal to the force divided by the area on which it acts. Since the smaller piston has less area so from less force also we can get more efficiency in work. And according to the Pascal's principle, in a hydraulic system, pressure exerted on a piston produces an equal increase in pressure on another piston in the system. Thus by applying little force in the smaller piston, we can get same force from larger piston too. A hydraulic machine magnifies force.

What is the part of the sound wave called where molecules are expanded and are farther apart?
Lesechka [4]

Answer:

Rarefactions

Explanation:

The sound waves travel in compressions and rarefactions.

As the name suggests compressions are the areas which particles are closer than their usual positioning.

In rarefactions the vibrating particles can be observed further apart than the usual.

Two objects of different mass have equal, non-zero kinetic energies. Which object has the greater momentum?
Alchen [17]
Momentum= mass*velocity thus if you keep velocity constant an increase in mass increases momentum so the heavier object (assuming constant gravity) has a higher momentum than a lighter object
